I mean its odd to say that there is a difference in offensive philosophy when Saban knows or should know what that philosophy is? Sark has been with the program for at least a year.
The next question I would have are what are the differences that would drive a split? It sounds odd to me. Why would it be unacceptable to Saban yet acceptable to the Falcons?

Maybe Sark made his gameplan around 1 single player, who also happens to be the most injury prone player on the team.

We abandoned the running game after Bo got hurt, when we have two other very good running backs.

Damn, I like that quote. For you younger posters, if people around you give you $hit or make it harder to better yourself you should create distance between yourself and them. If you depend on those people in the present, work for creating options (on your terms) to not depend on them in the future.

Yea, I don't know what all that means, but at some point the person hiring the people they can't work with becomes the issue.

Saban has always had a hand in the offensive philosophy. My guess is that Sark wanted more control over the philosophy than Sark wanted to give up.

Or it could be a "we had an agreement that you would do certain things in your personal life so that I could trust you in this professional capacity and you aren't doing those things" type of issue.
or, more likely, the Falcons job was too good to pass up, Saban understood that and said go, and some of our pretendsiders are trying to sway public opinion since they think no one ever leaves Bama without Saban wanting them gone.

Giving Lockley the "Co-Offensive Coordinator" position is no different than when Tosh was given "Co-Defensive Coordinator". It's just a title

I'll go on record as saying I think the SBNation report is BS. Steven Godfrey has reported stuff like this before. I don't buy it.

Sounds like Sark bailed for a better job because I just can't imagine that Saban would fire the guy he hired just a few weeks ago to take over a high octane offense of the NFC chmaps.
