Dude Gameday on the Quad is a 10 times better setting than having it in front of the stadium.

And now Gameday is gonna be on the Quad

I think it's better optics for UA if it's on The Quad. It's going to fvck a lot of tailgates though.

This is why I like being the visiting team in games like this. Less distractions.

Despite your politics, I think the President attending a game in your HOME stadium (not a bowl or huge neutral site game) is sending a pretty awesome message to the recruits about the quality of your football program.

I would think the same if it were Obama or Clinton. It's a pretty neat honor, if you can see beyond politics for a minute (which seems impossible these days).

How is boning the fans a better optic?

Not if it fricks up my tailgate it isn't GARY

I'm guessing they put it out on the East side of Denny Chimes in the big open area where they don't let people set up tents. That way it won't displace anyone. There is no way they are going to put it back on the SW corner where they used to do it. That place is backed with tents. People might literally riot.

Damn I didn't think about that.

I was thinking about the setting. It was always so boring in front of the stadium.

For the 100th time, it’s shocking how vocal Alabamian never trumpers/liberals are.

I don’t get it.

Denny Chimes and The Quad is a better backdrop on TV than the Walk of Champions.

It's absolutely better on the Quad. The setting in front of the stadium sucks out loud.

Unless that giant open space is necessary for fire code or something I don't know about I'd almost guarantee they put it there with Denny chimes back behind it.

You don't get why people don't like Donald Trump?

Seriously?

I think he was referring to several posters whining about Trump coming to the game.

No.

I don’t get why the internet presence of Alabamians that hate Trump is so large.

Seems like the proportions are off.

I don't think anyone is frustrated with Trump coming because of politics. I have my own political views like everyone else but it definitely wouldn't effect my opinion about this. Seeing the president and the presidential power that accompanies the president is awesome, generally, as an American.

It's just going to be a total clusterfvck added on to what was already going to be a wild, busy, over the top weekend.

Oh well - we'll all figure it out.

Seems pretty random.

It's the only sporting game where he knows he (probably) won't get booed.

Even though I'm nothing but progressive filth I actually saw him during the 2018 CFP game in Atlanta. EVEN THEN there was a healthy amounts of booing. About half/cheering half boos.

It'll be interesting and painful to watch.

I’m fairly confident he’s going to get booed pretty heavily

No way he gets booed in Bryant Denny. Will probably be the biggest USA, USA, USA chant of all time.
