I can't believe that we might be getting Marshall. If true, kudos to Bill Battle for making a strong statement about the future of Alabama's BB program. Can't wait to see the SECr spin on it. I know Auburnphan23 will be happy for us.

This may or may not be true and Pearl is certainly a good coach. But the Auburn fan interest in/reaction to this Alabama coaching search has been a bit pathetic. Who knew they cared so much about Alabama basketball? That tweet is sad on multiple levels.

Alright, so at this point, we don't think Battle and Marshall have met face to face? And Marshall hasn't been given the shock and awe tour of campus? Is that the consensus?

The difference between our program and theirs is Auburn basketball was a dumpster fire when Pearl got there and it'll still be a dumpster fire when he leaves, probably after next season.

At first I was ready for the disappointment of missing out on top targets and ready to accept the fact that we'd settle for Prohm.
