Leon was a hotshot JUCo that folks were high on..Is he having problems learning the offensive, lazy, over weight, or part of all

Cornwell's number is 5. I suspect he'll try to get it when he arrives in January.

speaking of the Corn. the other day I had a chance to watch a 7x7 he was in and he was trying to force the ball down the middle between triple coverage. I think he went 4 straight times that way and all were deflected.

I realize that. But guys change numbers all the time. That was my point.

Seems like one of the practice reports yesterday mentioned someone working at Safety. Was it Washington? Haven't seen any mention of it today though.
It was Jabriel, he was working with Miller at safety last night.

He was weak at the point of attack in the spring, especially runblocking. That is a big part of the offense, and players like Shepherd and Hill have that quality. Plus he got into a little bit of trouble a while back, enough to have a captain;s meeting over.
Dude needs a year, always has...

so he gets a RS and still can play 2. no big deal unless he gets a big head and quits

Are you talking about in The Opening? Because I finally got around to watching it this week. Those 4 straight times in the middle were when they were on about the 10 yard line and everyone is basically bunched up in a 20 yard box. You only have 4 seconds to get rid of the ball and if one of you're outside guys isn't open, your best chance is to try to force one into a guy inside.
And outside of that series, I thought he looked really good. I think he was something like 8 of 11 up to that point with one of the incompletions being a drop.

Most players don't change numbers and if they do it's because a number that they want opens up not to make it available for an incoming player.

yes..I did not get to see all of him that day, but he was so predictable on that series that the DB's were pinching in..ONe fake to the inside and his outside guys were wide open. Not sure why he could not fathom that concept after his first two were batted down

Should find out some info on Gulledge at CNS's PC in the morning

Damn.
2 days, 2 of my favorite players may not be on the team anymore.
I'm nervous for Shepherd, Greene, and Harrison Jones now

Why was Gulledge one of your favorites? Or am I missing sarcasm?
Posted on 8/3/13 at 5:55 pm to MagillaGuerilla
did gulledge have the potential to break into the rotation this year. When was our last stud from Prattville?
Posted on 8/3/13 at 5:57 pm to mrbroker
Harper and McCall. Gulledge was terrible. Didn't start that much for prattville.

I liked what I saw(albeit most of the time without pads), thought he had a future at Center or LG. Moved real well, though was a bit of an undersized project.
I know I was in the minority...

I'm pretty sure I was the most negative about him

I recall
The OLs in the Prattville and Oxford trios that year haven't done so well.
