If Paige's situation opened up a scholly, you would think he's been put on medical scholarship which guys rarely, rarely come back from. But then CNS said he's working with trainers so I'm not sure wtf is going on with him.

No, it said he was medically disqualified. Him moving to a medical opened up a spot for Bozeman.

"Darius Paige has medical issues that has caused our medical staff to think that it is not safe for him to play, so he has been medically disqualified," Saban said. "He is here, and we are helping to support him. He will be on scholarship. he will get an education, but our medical staff is working with him right now to try to help improve his condition. I can't comment any further on that."

If he's gone for good (which is what it sounds like) then that sucks a big one

Rob Foster is officially cleared. Will be at practice tonight.

Chris Walsh on Paige:

CNS said the Paige situation opened a spot for Bozeman. No one is questioning that. I was asking how it opened a spot. If he's put on medical (only way I know that would free up a scholly) then Paige is done for good

Notes from Saban press conference.

Saban asks the media if we're excited about the football season starting. He's in a good mood.

Must have been a good first practice.

I'm guessing the length of the experiment will largely depend on Facione's efforts to return to good standing
