Diggs would give us another Ridley type player on the field.

We had a play where Diggs was lined up in the backfield. The ball was snapped to Hurts and he threw it immediately out in the flat, and Diggs just stood there like he had no idea what to do.

Missed tackles, step slow in coverage, mostly just in the way of people trying to make the play.

This is a vine of Foster's hit on Kelly. I can't remember the last guy we had that was this violent. Props to Kelly for getting back up

I think Harrison problem is that he soo aggressive that he wants every play to be a run so he can hit someone lol. Eddie Jackson won't hit anyone...

maybe he needs to be a LB in the spread type offenses.

that's pretty much what he does in the Dime package

I subscribe to the theory that all players are either more comfortable going forward or more comfortable going backwards. And obviously DL are gonna be mostly forward guys and CBs are mostly backward guys. But you see the greatest diversity at the safety position because of the different skills needed for the job. Mark Barron is a forward guy. Eddie Jackson is a backwards guy. Vinnie Sunseri was a forward guy. Rashaad Johnson was a backward guy. But Ronnie Harrison is an interesting case. I originally thought he was more of a cover safety, but he loves to come up and hit somebody. IMO, he's pretty close to the middle of the backward/forward spectrum.

Bo in a Jalston Fowler-esque role would be pretty nasty.

I am Team Bo, but objectively through three games it looks like our best options at RB in order are: (1) Harris, (2) Hurts on the keeper, (3) Jacobs, (4) Emmons, (5) Stewart on some nonsense bullshite jet sweep, (6) Diggs as a diversion, and (7) Bo.

Having said that, I believe in two things: (1) There is a reason Bo was at the top of the depth chart after being on campus for quite some time; and (2) he will play in the NFL in some capacity.

Dude is one of our best 22 or so players so we need to find a role, but not sure it's at RB in this offense. I too would like to try him in a different role. Perhaps something like an ultra athletic (and more utilized) Smelly.

I'm guessing Emmons is having trouble learning his assignments, but once he does he will be making his way up your list in a hurry.

Frustrating knowing what Emmons is capable of, but he doesn't get any PT.

Just rewatched the ole miss game. Scarborough had some great runs called back for ticky tack holding that had nothing to do with the play. Several plays hes getting hit in the backfield by an unblocked safety, and his other trys were from like a yard out. Scarborough is fine, just was unlucky

Yeah everyone needs to just chill out with Bo. All summer people thought he was hurt. Today I heard some jackass radio host in Montgomery say that Bo is done running the ball at Bama after that fumble. Give me a break people. He's gonna be fine. Too many people are expecting him to immediately be King Henry II. Let him play a couple games and get comfortable in the offense. This group hasnt had a lot of time to gel with the experiments on the OL and the battle at QB.

Which is the main problem are expectations. I think Bo is a great athlete just not a RB. But I also believe he could be one of our best options on offense if used differently. In a HB/FB roll he would create big mismatches in my opinion.

I'd imagine this is the case. IIRC, he wasn't an early enrollee. I think the fact that both he and Jacobs are getting as much time as they are right now says a great deal about their ability.

I'm ready for tony brown to be back. He will be huge against Texas A&M. We obviously could have used him against Ole Miss.

TAMU will not throw it around like OM and i doubt their QB is as accurate. Yes I know he beat us while at OK but our D has come a long way in knowing how to defend the HUNH spread stuff.

I expect A&M to be a very good game.
The two teams we played against with manzel had lots of NFL,talent on it.like 2 very good o-linemen,
2 de's ,2-lb'ers. Also first round WR and i think there center might have went first round also.

The team that won in bama had lots of upper class-men on it.It's taken 3 years to develop another
upper class team post manzel. who also was a kid red shirted there.

Speedy Noil class is now true jr's. That class was do to the success of manzel last two years.
So they should be developed by now.
A&M cant reload like we can.So it will take 3 yrs and they will have a contending team every 3 years.

This year's A&M team has a poor man's Johnny Football and very few QB beat Saban twice.
