It's hard to say it's boring winning championships.... I just wanted to see the offense spiced up a little. But with Bateman we might as well be taking a step back.

Did you actually see Cooper play last season? He's awful man.

Notes from the depth chart
- DL depth is kind of scary. Dakota Ball is in the 2nd group? Yikes
- LB and Secondary depth though, holy athletes
- QB thing, obviously
- Ridley the clear punt returner
- the OL shuffle, why?

Screw the entire bunch of you for rooting against Bateman.

Feels a lot like the Blake Sims stuff a few years ago (though less, um, tinged). I'm nervous about it based on the one appearance I saw last year and the practice reports, but at this point I defer to the brain trust on things like this.

Pre-season meltdown is good for the soul.

how many of you that are having meltdowns are millennials. You want it now and you want it fast. Wasnt there a ketchup commercial a few years ago that bragged about being slow. Just wait for it.

People between the ages of 17 and 35? Probably quite a few.
Considering I remember reading more than a few of these same types of meltdowns on BamaMag back in the early 2000s, I'm doubting this sort of mentality is confined to millenials.

Might be Bozeman's natural position. I like Piersbacher at RG anyways, with Jonah Williams at RT.

I don't have issue with people liking a particular guy. It's the demeaning nature some have had with either QB that's seen as a challenger to the anointed Hurts.

I'm with Cap on this one. I'm not saying Bateman is the answer but you guys have been around long enough to know knowledge and an ability to just do what it takes to not hurt the team is the trick to winning the starting job. It's time to get behind the two in front and hope for the best. Bateman may have very well grown up this year and be ready to lead the team. He's earned the opportunity for sure.

It's temporary until Alphonso heals.

Next time anyone dares to question the fact that Saban always goes with uperclassmen in the QB postion regardless of anything other factor should get a smack to the head.
It is quite obvious by now.

Could have been some snapping problems or something they didn't like.
Bozeman started practicing at Center before his senior year of high school, Pierschbacher came to Bama as a Tackle.

Because clearly they're better coaches than the guy that's won half the national & SEC titles awarded this decade.

The fact that you condemn a player to permanent failure after a few meaningful series in one game and some trash time speaks volumes.

Did people actually think Saban would start a true freshman QB in game one?

You would have a point if you actually knew as much about the QB situation as you think you do . But you don't.

Hopefully Allen/Payne/Tomlinson/Hand can all stay healthy, Frazier can man up, and Davis is cleared. If we get a few injuries there it could get ugly with Ball/Smith/Dwight being forced to play.

Not dog in this fight, but I recall AJ being just fine in mop up. Even had that great Julio catch against San Jose State.
