Nicholas State had 52 runs prior to playing Alabama.
Tell you guys what, this frehsman, Chandler Taylor, is pretty fricking good. Finished 5-5 last night with 2 RBIs and a triple. On opening night against Maryland, he was 2-2 with a HR and a walk.
Keep this up and who knows how good this team can be.

Kid is a stud. He has serious, serious pop in his bat too. We haven't had many guys like that the last few years.
Great thing about our schedule is we should have a very clear picture of where we stand entering SEC play.

I got Nicholas State and North Dakota mixed up. Thought it was Nicholas State who had beaten USC, not North Dakota.

Hahaha yes a bit, but Nicholls has been a solid program the last few years, picked to finish 5th out of 13th in the Southland this year.

Great to see the offense explode last night. The freshman on this team are playing extremely well right now. Hopefully they can keep it up. I was glad to see Oczypok last night. For those who don't know he has been out the last 2 seasons with injury.

I've known Chandler since he was 11, the kid can flat out play. Saw him hit one about 350 or so when he was 12. Wasn't a bad pitcher either.
