It's not going to be ready in time for our game against FSU. Watch.

I'm no longer going with the combination of the uncertainty with the stadium and the ticket prices right now. Probably go to Nashville for the Vanderbilt game instead.

I've heard the roof has dropped (sunk) up to six feet in some spots.

Damn I was planning on going to this game. I don't know if I will now if they're planning to "open" it a week before our game...

The roof was ridiculous to begin with.

What would happen if it isn't ready?

Atlanta really needs to get their shite together. Civil engineers out the arse, and everything's fricked up anyway.

Isn't the Georgia Dome out of commission now so it can be torn down?

It was but they secretly never removed anything from it and have done the upkeep. And, about a week ago, they pushed back the demo date to December.

They may figure it out, but everyone who knows anybody working on that job has heard very specific stories that basically come back to "we have no frickin clue".

They did the same thing Quatar did with the air conditioning stadiums for the World Cup. They basically said "here is what our stadiums will look like" with a technology that literally didn't exist yet.

Would be played in Georgia Dome. There is a reason they have also pushed back the demolition of the GA Dome. It's their contingency plan. It's still being maintained until they know for sure MBS is ready. People are definitely starting to worry about things being ready for the CFA Kickoff games and start of Falcons regular season. The officials are saying the right things but the rumor mill is very loudly saying there are significant issues they are still trying to even figure out how to fix, much less actually fix them. This is a cool but very complex building. They are probably wishing they would have chilled out on the design a bit now.

I'm going to be seriously disappointed that we aren't playing the first college game in there.

We probably still will in the SEC championship
