Whoever listens to the Matt & Scott show on Jox 94.5, anybody know what happened to them? I heard they got fired.

I gave em 2 months and their show was awful. Did it actually get better?

I never liked it that much ... they were painful to listen to at times. If I was in the car and they had a good interviewee on the air, I'd tune in, but they just seemed to have little to no chemistry on their own. Long silences in their conversations.

i did not listen to it much when I was in the car i listened and it was good.

You are a better man than me. I gave em a couple weeks. I don't think they were horrible, but it's a really tough market for outsiders.

It was generally a pretty good show. I liked the professional sports talk. Fridays were awful, but no one listens on a Friday night so they just did whatever they felt like.
They also did a pretty good job when they would fill in other slots during the day.

Wow. I really enjoyed their show. Their Friday segment during football season with the SEC computer was one of the funniest sports radio segments I'd ever heard. Had me in tears sometimes.

They're gone. It not only sucks for them, but the students who were working for an internship at night because they have school during the day.

Hate to hear of anyone getting fired, but I really didn't enjoy their show. I'm not one to judge though as I pretty much hate all sports talk radio, so there's that.

I thought they were good for what they had to do- late night sports talk. I'll listening to them and hear Matt go on about beer than listening to a stupid replay of Finebaum.
The guys who do Jox Gameday should take over that slot IMO.

Luckily, Tide 99.1 switched to 102.9 and increased their wattage, so it reaches out to Birmingham now.

Yeah I do kinda like the Jox Gameday on Saturday mornings, looking forward to that for the season.
