I'm surprised that there isn't a thread on the game yet. How does everyone feel? I'm not as nervous as I was when we played Ole Miss and UGA, but I still think that this will be a difficult game.

Haven't had the chance to really watch them much this year other than the end of the Arky game in Dallas. It seemed like Arkansas had a lot of success running the ball (their rb was a beast at the end) so I'm not too worried about their defense. Yes we historically struggled against Chavis' D but I doubt he's turned Aggy around that fast.

As for offense I'm not so sure about. Kyle Allen seems like the real deal. Wish we had played him last year instead of Kenny Hill just to see how he plays against us. I fully expect them to score a lot of points in this game. It will be interesting to see how our D steps up.

Overall I think that this will be a lot closer than 59-0. I kinda wish we were the underdogs again, but Saban will have them ready to play.

I'm thinking 32-28 Bama. Aggy scores early but we eventually wear them down in the 4th and pull away. Hope it doesn't come down to kicking...........

I am still leery of our tendency to turn the ball over. Therefore, I am predicting a higher scoring game.

Alabama 42 TAMU 38, with three of TAMU's runs starting on our side of the field.

our D is better than last year but our O is not. I hope we win by at least 10 and get a comfy lead early unlike the last game. That was nerve wracking

What is "a lot?" I expect them to score under 20 points.

I haven't watched but a few plays of TAMU this year, but I have so much faith in our defense that I am just not worried.

I think that our offense will have a lot of success on Saturday with Henry and Drake. If the short passing game is on point, then we should win easily.

Statistically speaking, our offense is at least as good as last year's.

Nervous. Road game against an impressive pass rushing squad, Chavis has had success against Bama, secondary will be tested, and Aggies are hyping this up again as their biggest game of the year.

maybe so but our TO's have led to many points for the other team. Look at Ole mrs. This is a huge concern

You see I'm nervous if we get into a shootout. I don't know if our offense could keep up.

I think this is the toughest game left on the schedule followed closely by LSU.

I think we'll have to score 25+ to win this one. We'll see how much our DB's have improved over the first 6 games. I think we'll have to run the ball to control the game. Like others said, I'd be nervous in a shootout as I don't think we could keep up.

Bama wins 27-24.

Like most big games over the last several years. If we don't turn the ball over and keep stupid situational penalties at a minimum, we should win.

I think we're better than they are at every single position except QB and K.

Doesn't TAMU run a spread of some sort? Haven't really watched them this year although I know that's what they've done in the past.

Overall I think our d keeps them in check but they are able to score a few times. In my mind our defense will certainly be able to hold them enough for us to win the game. I think those spread teams can put up some points on our d though just by design.

I think the real key of the game is our o-line vs their defense. Our line play has been very inconsistent so far so its really hard to predict if they will show up. If they can play like they did against Wisconsin or Ga....then I think Coker plays well and we win. When Coker has had time he has played well.

But if they play like they did against Ole Miss...Coker has proven to make some bad decisions and force the ball out instead of throwing it away or just taking the sack if he has lineman in his face. If our o-line doesn't show up then I will worry about turning the ball over too much. Hopefully our d can force a few turnovers.

I don't think its a coincidence that our o-lines worst game was against the most talented front 7 we have played so far (Ole Miss). They've got some talented guys there.

Does anyone know about TAMU's front 7? D-Line? I think thats the real key. We know our defense is gonna show up and at least slow down their offense enough to allow us to win.

Overall I think we win by 10 or so. Maybe something along the lines of 34-27 or 37-27 or something like that.

Everything depends on Coker. Our defense will show up but Coker's play and the offenses efficiency will be the difference. If he turns the ball over or is very inaccurate, it will keep both there team and crowd in the game, but I have a lot of faith in our D, and I am one who believes that our secondary has improved a great deal. Also, for some reason, when we play away from home, our focus is there. Tide rolls 31-13

We can't get into a fast paced shoot out with them. We have to take care of the ball, establish the run and force them in to obvious passing downs.

We are going to murder them.

You all watch and see! A&M won't score more than 17 on us, and we're going to intercept them all day. I bet we even get a pick six.

38-17 Bama. Coker won't have to show up as much as you all think. Running game will establish who's in control of this game. Our D will do the rest.

ALL HAIL LORD SABAN and his Sabanauts.

But seriously, I ain't nervous. Time we laid a good arse kicking on A&M. Again. Like last year.

If we can flush them out of the pocket (we will) and contain the qb (probably will as well), then he will be making bad throws. We just have to take of the ball and put together long drives.

A&M is dangerous because they actually match up well with our weaknesses, similarly to Ole Miss.

They have serious playmakers all over the place, so our secondary will be tested repeatedly (unlike UGA and Arky that were somewhat committed to the run and/or TE passing games). Allen is mobile and accurate, so they will score points.

With their edge rushers, we cannot afford to fall to far behind like we did against Ole Miss. Both Cam and Dom are banged up so we will have to keep chipping away with runs up the middle. We should have a favorable matchup to run between the tackles, but I am sure they will some defensive adjustments waiting for us as well.

Color me cautiously optimistic as long as we stay out of clear passing situations. We should be able to hit a deep 1st down play action pass or 3 against them...

TAMU's DEs are really really good at pass rush, but probably not so much at stopping the power run.

The key for Bama will be to not get into 3rd & long situations, pass on 1st & 2nd down, and roll Coker out of the pocket if they aren't biting on play action.
