It's time to admit that Golding is good.

Seriously.

We had one outlier game, led by one of our former long term coaches. Outside of that single example, we are top 5 in every defensive category that matters.

No more emergency scrubs on defense like last year. We have basically a full complement of players, and he has molded them into what has become the best defense in the country over the past several weeks.

It's not even debatable.

Sure. Let's see how he does against the top passing team in the country.

Doesn't change where he is now, as the DC who has won more SEC games in a single season than any other.

You sound like Colin Cowherd or Skip Bayless defending Harbaugh.

Maybe.

Bring me some facts to dispute that Golding is the best DC in football over the past 8 weeks. Let's discuss.

Golding has the 90's style game Defense.

He plays loose in the 1st quarter while he figure's you out.

By 2nd quarter he is dialed in on your gameplan and it's over.

Like a venus flytrap...

It is amazing what talent will do for one's ability.

Bama is ALOT more talented on defense this year.

He may not be as awful as I once thought but I’m gonna hold off calling him a savant.

Ok well like he can’t coach and play too. Players need to make plays.

No, I’m not admitting that yet. He’s improved, as has the defense. We still have plenty of “3rd and Golding’s” and whatnot, though.

To be fair, Kirby and 3rd... Pruitt and 3rd... I think it's more of defense scheme on third down. I really hate mush rush.
