Is Levi Wallace (SEC defensive POW) going to be drafted?

One of my favorite stories of the year is this guy's performance. Tied for the SEC lead now in interceptions and I think I read he's 7th nationally in passes defended with six breakups and his three interceptions.
I don't know how he stacks up from a measurables standpoint but he looks the part on the field to me.
Edit - He was also named the SEC Defensive Player of the Week this week.

No clue but my early 2cents is he seems better that Kareem Jackson who got drafted (higher than he should have)

I hope so. Crazy for a walk on to be a starter on a team with top draft classes every year.Huge respect for him.

What are you talking about? He's in his 8th season as a starting corner for Houston. Do you even watch football?

I'm pretty sure the Texans don't regret drafting Jackson considering he's been their starting CB for all 8 years in the NFL. He's not had an elite career but a decent one.

I think Wallace is a smart player but his measurables probably won't stack up to the top CBs. I can see him being a 3rd round guy.

Pretty much all of our starting DBs are drafted.
Don't forget that Rashad Johnson was a walk-on and ended up having a great NFL career

4.62 forty during spring testing. Average size. Our best cover corner though. Has that "it" factor and I do think he is improving his stock. Dequan(sp?) Menzie tested in the 4.6 or 4.7 range and I think Wallace is much better than he was.

Possibly. Menzie played on that 2011 defense with a secondary of Kirkpatrick, Milliner, Barron, and Lester. So I think by association he was probably perceived to be worse than maybe he was.

I would think so. Through 5 games he's looked like a top 2 or 3 round prospect. He absolutely blankets receivers. Last game he was covering the dude so tight that the refs, and even I thought it was PI. Then I saw the replay and realized it was just perfect coverage.
He's been our best cover corner so far, and if he keeps this up he might be one of the best cover corners we've ever had.

I doubt he gets drafted. Most likely an UDFA. Maybe someone takes him 7th round. He might make a team but I just don't th think he is an NFL athlete. Of course I would love to be wron.

Because i dont watch NFL and i only remember a couple of years where the fans seemed to like him and early and later years where i heard several complaints about him. He was also drafted very high and i know many Alabama fans were extremely surprised about that. So like i said it was my 2 cents i dont pretend to actually be an NFL fan or know the ins and outs of every player. With that being said if he is still starting today that is pretty impressive. 8 years and going is pretty great in the not for long league.

I think his biggest issue will be top speed. He's not a burner. He also might want to add some muscle to go to the NFL.
But, clearly the guy is a really hard worker. If he can get his 40 time down in the 4.5 range i think he will be drafted.

He's playing GREAT.
But I don't think he's athletic enough to be an NFL CB.
