It took 7 Tennessee turnovers for A&M to beat @Vol_Football. And in overtime at that. Who else have they beaten? A pretender in @FootballAU and a crappy @UCLAFootball team in OT. @NzoneFootball coached for them last season and knew enough to help.

This team feels like its determined not to lose. 15-0 isn't out of reach.

Was about to say stick to twitter brah.

I wouldn't look into the Tennessee game too much, we had several chances to put the pedal down and didn't. A problem we always have at home for some reason. A lot of those yards came from missed tackles going for strips because Tenn led the country in fumbles. (This is not saying Bama won't be getting a huge chunk of yards)

No excuse on the UCLA game. Hoping that was opening game jitters. Another comfortable win that we couldn't put away at home.

Your front 7 REALLY worries me. Trevor's arm will suffice if we can get the running game going, but I'm not sure we will be able to. This will be the biggest test our line has seen by far.

Also, Trevor has a bad habit of panic passing under pressure. He will have to take off and run, take a sack, or throw the ball away this week at the times he has thrown back-pedaling jump balls in the past. I don't mind taking chances on the sideline occasionally because our receivers are so good, but lofting it over the middle is just as likely to see 6 the opposite way than a first down.

A&M has a chance to win if we can effectively run the ball, and Trevor has a great game, but I'm pretty pessimistic (Don't have time to get into defensive worries . Was supposed to be making the trip, but couldn't last minute. Hoping for a great game either way.

Say what you want about the Tennessee game but we were 1/2 yd away from winning in regulation by 14 points. And the Tennessee team we played was 100% healthier than the one you played.

Are we forgetting about how bad A&M played against a terrible South Carolina team.

We left 4 of our best starters at home to rest. All 4 will play in the league. We also experimented a lot on offense which I am sure had to do with upcoming showdown with Tenn.

This isn't typical Bama.

They already had a frick up game...and they won

They may prove me wrong, but I just don't think aTm will be effective on defense.

Here are the rushing yards aTm's allowed to P5 opponents this year:

UCLA: 125
Auburn: 236
Arkansas: 120
USCe: 161
Tennessee: 282

On the surface, those look like respectable numbers, but raw numbers don't tell the whole story. Here are those team's rankings in rushing offense:

UCLA: 127
Auburn: 12
Arkansas: 59
USCe: 126
Tennessee: 71

The only team they've faced in the top 50 is Auburn, which has statistically benefited from two >400 yard games against non-P5 opponents.

Even more telling, with the exception of Arkansas every single P5 aTm opponent has posted their best rushing total (against P5 foes) of the season against the Aggies.

Alabama is 10th in the nation at 262 yards per game - but unlike Auburn which has padded their numbers against non P5 teams, Alabama's averaging a whopping 290 yards against P5 foes.

Unless aTm can seriously buck the trend, in the vernacular of tRant Harris, Jacobs, Scarborough, and Hurts finna eat.

I think if both teams play their best games, Bama is about 10 points better. A&M has the WR's to exploit a Bama secondary that has been susceptible to giving up big plays. Question will be whether Knight has time to find them. I see them using a lot of quick throws to try and get the WR's in space.

While the A&M has significantly improved, I still think they are weak(by SEC standards) right up the middle. Tennessee gashed them all day right up the middle, and I don't see any reason why Bama won't be able to do the same.

Turnovers will be the key to this game. A&M has a few, and it will get out of hand quickly. Bama has a few, and it'll make it a nail biter.

I'm torn. I think back to last year where Bama limped into the last game before the bye and was tired and barely beat UT. But this year feels different. We've only had 1 close game in the first half of the season. Most of the other games, we have been able to sit our starters for the 4th quarter. I believe this has helped in 2 big ways. Our starters are fresher, plus we've gotten some good experience for our backups.
Screw it. I just talked myself into a blowout!

this is about as true of a statement as can be made since we are on the road. Throw in a mistake or miscue by us and it might get ugly, if it's by y'all it might be a tight game

I don't think A&M matches up well with Bama. I'm more worried about LSU and Auburn than A&M.
