So wait, why do you have a bias towards Coker?

I was a GA with FSU S&C dept for two years and Coker was one of the players I primarily worked with in the weight room.

Just a phenomenal kid with a great attitude that has all the tools.

He's a little old school and reserved. He doesn't do social media or get caught up in typical college hoopla which is great, but I think that also hurts him in a sense with his peers who find it odd. When Jameis came in the team responded to his charisma and extroverted personality more. Chemistry is a big factor. I'm all for Jake but I don't know if he can "win the team" as it's been put so many times. Just so introverted.

Anyways, everyone has "their boy" for whatever their reasons. Last year I was a gigantic Fowler fan. On defense it was and still is Reed.

That's fair. I always thought the same about Coker, as far as his personality not translating with the team.

I also am interested in seeing what everyone does when all of the targets are healthy(ish). Kiffin is great but his offense requires all of his "pieces" to be available for it to "flow." Saban said something to the effect of Drake, Foster and (maybe Black?) being needed for that flow to exist.

Seeing as almost all of the guys Coker spent time throwing to last season are dinged up, it's like whatever chemistry he has established with his targets is off.

Hoping we get back to full strength so we don't have to try to wing it. Schedule is too tough to go into this already limping and remain a 1-loss or undefeated team I think.

I just want someone to make me not worry about the QB position, so if Cokesiah is the answer, then awesome.

That release is slow, but boy does he throw a pretty ball or what?

I think the past couple of weeks we've almost forgotten about the potential of Coker. Maybe he'll become that player, maybe he won't, but if he does...

I very much dislike Jakes throwing motion. Someone had a comment earlier in the week that he looks like he's aiming instead of just trusting his arm. But, I don't know shite. In Sabear we trust.

Yeah, the motion itself is ugly.

Though Jameis won a Heisman with a pretty slow motion

He has a ton of power. Biomechanically it would make sense considering his wind up.

Also makes sense why he seemed to struggle with those quick screens last year. If it's short and quick he has to put a muzzle on the arm and really aim because if he tries to zip it, it could easily carry off into the stands haha

Mad props to Coker for bouncing back so dang fast. Maybe that drive and determination can springboard him into the season. Play-fakes and bootlegs replace the quick screens... I can dig it RTR!!!

Looks like to me he has a hitch at the top of his motion. Looks like he gets his shoulder hiked up and can't get his arm through. Almost seems late and is inconsistent driving the football. I think it's why he sails the shite out of short, quick passes.

I don't know shite about the mechanics of throwing a football but have played baseball my whole life and watched hours of video and know a lot about throwing shite.

It's not so much the wind up as it is his shoulder. Plenty guys have crazy/long wind ups. But it's hard to be consistent and get on top and drive the ball when your shoulder is the first thing to move and is in your damn ear.

So what is up with CRob's shoulder? Didn't sound like a big deal, but a sprained shoulder doesn't sound great either..
