I'm pretty sure our RB coach is way more to blame for Henry not playing than Nuss was.

I disagree. It's hard to win a ball game when you turn the ball over 5 times versus a respectable opponent or when you can only manage a 99-yard touchdown pass in the second half versus the 14th ranked SEC pass defense and one of the worst defenses in the league.

I'm sure he was telling Yeldon to fumble and AJ to throw picks.

Many of those turnovers were execution errors and stupid. Alabama didn't have turnover problems versus Auburn. What's the excuse for being shut down in the second half?

Execution. Like when we got down to the 5 in the 4th quarter but had a penalty bring it back. And a hesitant Yeldon prevented us from getting a first down on 4th and 1

This is such a crock of shite just so you know.

Yeah, Nuss told Cryrus to hold and the play called for Yeldon to fumble.

Yeah, we really don't need the coaches. Just recruit talent and we'll just draw up plays in the dirt as we go along.

seriously? please. Talent that was head and shoulders better than the competition was how we won in 2012.
He failed horribly at calling plays during the A&M game in 2012.

He didn't call for turnovers or sacks, but he didn't move away from slow developing pass plays, which combined with pressure resulted in sacks and a rattled QB.

As long as one of the players can draw up a screen and a pass to the tight end, I'd say it would be a wash.

Hrmm....I think this fellow may be on to something.
Nah, frick it, execution. Execute. Excuse.

I probably needed that.

The stubborn part comes in from not adjusting.
Your offense line is sucking and your QB is getting harassed the whole game?
Maybe you should stop calling long, slow developing plays down the field which require your offensive linemen to hold their blocks.
Saying "Well if they just would have executed we would have been fine" is just ignorant. They WEREN'T executing, repeatedly, a good coach will see that and adjust.
When what you're doing is blowing up in your face repeatedly, you're not accomplishing anything sticking with it.

He's the best Offensive Coordinator of the Saban Era, but that speaks more to the low quality of offensive coordinators we have had. He started out very well in 2012, but regressed this season and made some decisions that left you scratching your head.
