I think I'm ready for a guy like Kiffin, but with that said, Nuss has been a great coach and really helped improve AJ's game.

Any other stats you want to cherry pick?
Out of 123 teams, only 23 of them ran less plays than us. Four of them were the SEC teams that didn't go to bowl games. 7.15 yards a play. How do you like those cherries?

I'm not sure if you have changed your mind and think Nuss was sub-par or not by this comment. Confused...time....for...bed.
Trust me on this one, this move was a big positive for our football program.

And I'm not sure if you know your Alabama football but his offense has been the efficient in Alabama's history so continue to be confused. We'll let you know when September comes around and people start playing that game with the oblong ball that involves throwing it through the air or running with it on the ground. If you need anymore explanation I'm sure you can find some information at your local library.

I honestly think the OC is a bit over rated. nussmeir may seem better than mcelwain, but he also had a more experienced QB.
Everyone questions a play call, when sometimes it was a missed block that screwed up the play. or an overthrown ball.
Nuss did a sufficient job and I appreciate his efforts, but he is replaceable.

nuss did a good job for us, no denying that our offense was largely effective during his time, but he also had a level of offensive talent that was unprecedented. Nuss never seemed to have a real feel for play calling in the game, was very predictable when it counted. When the game plan wasnt working he wasnt very good at calling up something to take advantage of what the opposing defense was doing. also, oj howard only having 14 reception in 13 games was a travesty. thats essentially ignoring an uncoverable receiving threat. With the way auburn was playing us on d, howard should have had a field day

20-0, the defense owns that 20, guess who owns the 0? The offense.
And to hell with what happened at the beginning of the game.
You've got the ball 1st and goal at the 6 with 2 minutes to go, the win is right there in front of you on a silver platter. How you got to that point? Water under the bridge. Hand the ball to Lacey and let Fluker and company blow open a big hole for him, ez td. Why make something simple so complicated?
Bama fans lost their outrage over the stupidity of that series because we managed to get back into the national title race right away thanks to some upsets.

The offense was shitty in the Sugar Bowl, but it wasn't because of the play calling. 4 terrible turnovers directly leading to 28 Oklahoma points.

Yeah the TOs were the problem. That said, they had no answer in the first half for Coop and White, and in the second half they had no answer for Henry. Should have taken advantage in both situations.

I'd rather us be better than 85th in Redzone Offense
We've already looked this stat up, we go to 5 without the turnovers.

Then somebody needs to get on the phone and get Nuss back. Does Saban realize what he's done!!!!

Do you not think this has anything to do with the TALENT we put on the field? Jesus Christ you are dense.

Nuss was good...think he was a little to pass happy and our red zone execution was terrible under him but for the most part I think he was very good. Really wish him well....dont know if he was pushed out or left for what he feels is a better opportunity and money obviously.
Michigan is going to get a good one

??? If any success I have as an offensive coordinator is based soley on the talent I coach then I am out of a job.

If any of our coordinators should have been on the hot seat, it should have been Smart.

Or Bobby Williams, now there is a coordinator that has completely benefited from talent.
