The whole notion that they basically played us to a draw and "ran out of time" is such revisionist history.

- We were up 31-24 with 9:45 to play
- We were up 38-27 with 7:31 to play
- We were up 45-33 with 1:07 to play
- They scored to cut it to 5 with a whopping 0:12 to play

Clemson boards read just like the LSU boards going into the NC/rematch that year. It is incredible that they are so confident.

I peaked at one of them this morning. They're really setting themselves up for disappointment. They're about to run into a buzz saw.

Nailed it. I've trying to put my finger on where I've seen this before.

I've been told our practices this week with sark have been some of the best seen in a long time. Not to mention the players really like sark. Jalen is clicking with him.

I'm feeling more and more confident for this game. Saturday night my confidence level was about a 1 out of 10.
Now it's about a 7. Kiffin getting the boot and the media talking up Clemson are all huge positives for the Tide.

I feel like I'm being a giant homer but I really feel good about things.

I think we'll play well.

To add to my previous comment, it was said Jalen was throwing very well today with Sark giving him pointers the entire time. I'm liking this.

I hardly ever get inside information, but I did get a text Tuesday from someone who is at practice every day and they said Sark is way more hands-on with Jalen in practice and he appears to be feeding well off that.

Calvin giving too much to Booga today

Want our offense to be a shock to Clemson. I know they are watching our tape this yr and are confident. Same for the Clemson O from last yr.

Feel like they are going to be shocked, and won't be able to recover. I hope

Kind of wish we Tiffin would've left after the SECCG so Jalen could've gotten two weeks with Sark.

I checked out one of the Clemson message boards as well, really confident bunch there. One guy gave a very in depth analysis of us and them and gave a quarter by quarter break down. Long story short, he said the final score would be 34-20 Clemson and to not be surprised if they (Clemson) beat us 34-10.

I'm pretty surprised, given the turmoil and knowledge he had of Kiffins total lack of organization, that Saban didn't do that.

Maybe he didn't want to tarnish Kiffin and thought he could do it, but man.

Clemson is a good team, and given the situation I understand their fans confidence in their team.

But this type of prediction is downright foolish homerism.

In his tenure at the capstone, Saban's only lost 18 out of 132 games, a little less than half of which came in his first season with us.

Since he resurrected our program, the largest margin of defeat we've suffered is 14 points. And we've lost by 14 only 3 times: the 2008 & 2013 sugar bowls and the GD Garcia anomaly of 2010.

You'd have to check me on this, but I think we've only lost by double digits 4 times under Saban: the 3 games already noted plus the 2008 SECCG.

So long story short, "34-10" Clemson...If I woke up tomorrow with my head sewn to the carpet, I wouldn’t be more surprised

Agreed. Clemson has a good team but losing by 24 points is highly unlikely IMO. We could very well lose this game but I think it'll be a close loss. I think we win a tight game, probably by 3-6 points.

By the way, bravo on the Christmas Vacation quote

Mentally and emotionally it's a wash. It's our players last game just like theirs and that's all that matters. Both teams will give 100 percent. Alabama based on talent and coaching should win. Period.
