BOL has an article up regarding him and he mentioned speaking with Saban at the game on Saturday. According to him Saban told him he hadn't had a chance to see his film from the last game so it may be they haven't seen enough game film on him.
You have to remember that before this season he had never started a varsity game. As it stands he is on pace to throw for 30 TDs this season.

The only thing I've seen regarding Turnage is he is supposedly close with Nigel Knott and his family.

Knott will be transfering out if he doesn't get playing time soon. Hasn't played one snap his entire time at Bama.
Heard he is soft, so he might never play for the Tide.
