We got a commitment from Hand in November of 2013 when Davis wasn't even on the staff. His lead recruiter was Lance Thompson.

A name to watch for our DL coaching position is Tracy Rocker, per the fish.
The three possibilities that seem most likely for our next DL coach are Rocker, Chris Kiffin, and promoting Freddie Roach (promoted to LB coach with Tosh moved to DL). Of course CNS could go any number of a hundred ways with it. I think we'll come out of it replacing a good coach with another good coach, in any scenario. CNS seems to have his assistant coaching hires turn to gold about 90% of the time.

Nkemdiche fricking blew up our offensive line this year. When he plays motivated he's a beast.
I think motivation, entitlement and just pure laziness on his part had more to do with that poor preparation than coaching.

I am sure he was avidly studying the playbook, and it is the coach's fault that he still didn't understand after the hours he put in studying.

Kiffin is all recruiter, I prefer better coaches for both lines.
