Shaun Wade is playing on ESPN2 right now.

ETA: He's number 7 for the white team.

That Pappoe kid was invisible against IMG. Egbe was far better a LB.

Pappoe probably tests well and runs great 40s, but he showed me nothing in that game.

Well Pappoe is a Sophomore who was playing against an offense with a potential All-American at every position.

Why don't you cut him some fricking slack? It's not like his upperclassmen teammates did any better.

Jesus Christ dude. The kid is 15.

If anything, I was unimpressed with IMG. For an all star team, they basically ran the QB most of the game. Yes it worked, and yes he's good..........but show me some offense that helps these kids develop, not that most of the game.

Be sure to pay special attention to the sideline pop tackle. L5U fans mentioned it about 20 times in the in-game thread last night.

ETA: So I just watched the highlights, if you can even call that a highlight reel, and I didn't see any sideline pop tackle. It must have been a figment of their imaginations.

I'm not going to hate on the kid and predict how he will be in college, but i agree nothing stood out in that particular video. I saw a few kids flying around, he seemed a bit more hesistant than them. But maybe he was just playing his lane for all i know. Not a highlight reel though.

Honestly he didn't look bad, however, that is not a typical highlight reel. That probably has more to do with IMG being an All-Star team than him. Not a lot getting to the second level in that game (versus one of the best teams in Georgia HS football).

What HS coach says: "let's play IMG"?

That's ridiculous. Are they the equivalent of high school's version of the Harlem Globetrotters?

They should totally do joke circle-eight lateral pass drills between lineman and dump Gatorade buckets of confetti on fans at this point.

Actually though I believe 3714 said weeks ago that it may happen long before anyone else considered it. So they may have been then the possibility but the gun was jumped by the site the other day.

ORANGE CITY, Fla. - Whoever gets the last visit may have a great shot ultimately for running back Lorenzo Lingard (Orange City, Fla./University School).

He listed Miami and Ohio State as co-leaders this summer. Then Lingard said Miami was his outright leader following Paradise Camp in July.

"Being around the top athletes in Miami, getting a feel for the speed of their game and how they do things down there," Lingard said. "I like that, too. Fast. It was hot down there. (Hurricanes running backs) coach (Thomas) Brown kept it cool with everyone getting equal reps. I like his energy. To me he coaches like he's on the field with you. Every moment is with him. They are just great people. Coach (Mark) Richt is a great guy. I met him (for the first time) in the 8th grade. Just a cool dude and a great guy, down-to-earth."

He also visited Ohio State this summer.

"It was just the first impression I guess," Lingard said. "When a coach came down and talked to my coaches, my coaches had great feedback from him. That gave me a spark. I went up there and got to see the coaches and meet coach Urban (Meyer) and it was a great first impression on me."

Then trips elsewhere have moved three others to the high interest list: Alabama, Auburn and Florida State.

The Buckeyes and Hurricanes are no longer on top in this fluid situation.

"Probably not to tell you the truth," Lingard said. "I would say Alabama, Auburn and still Florida State, too."

He's also been big on the Seminoles.

"It's Florida State. Fast football. Great coaching. Coach Jimbo (Fisher)," Lingard said.

Trips to Alabama and Auburn late this summer also caught his eye.

"The intensity," Lingard said. "The overall grind and player intensity they have. The size of the players. The physicalness. I like it."

He plans to make his decision during his senior season or likely after his official visits next winter.

The Crystal Ball reads 57-percent for Miami and 43-percent for Florida State.

He said he grew up liking Florida and feels the Gators are recruiting him the hardest.

Lingard, who has 25 offers, said he hopes to still get an offer from Oregon, Texas and USC.

He said he would like to visit Florida State, Alabama, Auburn and Miami for games this fall.

The five-star recruit is ranked as the nation's No. 2 running back and the No. 3 prospect in Florida in the 2018 class by 247SportsComposite.

"To get back on track and score every touchdown for my team," Lingard said of his junior season goals. "To get back on top and (lead) rushing yards for central Florida and for my county."

Lingard (6-1, 192) will play in the 2018 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Lingard, who runs a 4.48 hand-timed 40-yard dash, won the 110-meter hurdles state title in 13.92 seconds as a sophomore.
