Number 1: Happy for Cager sticking to Miami. I would too. Dance with the one who brought you
Number 2: I'm fine if we're not full. One of my favorite classes was the year we signed 22, but they were all exciting players. No fat. Why sign someone for them just to transfer in a few years? Save that spot for next year if no one elite is out there

Wide receiver Daylon Charlot (Patterson, La.) canceled his Miami official visit, per a source.
Charlot will publicly choose between Alabama and LSU on National Signing Day.
The Crystal Ball reads 58-percent for Alabama and 42-percent for LSU.
The four-star recruit is ranked as the nation's No. 9 wide receiver and the No. 4 prospect in Louisiana in the 2015 class by 247Sports.com Composite Rankings.
I hope he picks us.

Ah, I love this time of year.
When full grown men of every team start turning into fretting chickens.
Y'all need me to bring you some comfort food?
It's the only time I'm willing to make e-sandwiches.

Hill cancelled his OV to Arkansas.

Be careful there are some hungry chickens out there right now.

Inside linebacker is a position that has undergone a face-lift in terms of responsibilities and its value to a defense.
Players at that spot still have to be physical forces against the run. However, they have to be athletic enough to drop into coverage on passing downs in order to be on the field for three downs.
There are no 5-star prospects among this group, but there are still a handful of inside linebackers in the 2015 class who have the potential to be elite talents at the next level—headlined by 4-star Mississippi commit Leo Lewis.
Bleacher Report broke down the 2015 inside linebacker class, scoring recruits on important traits such as tackling (35 points), pass-rushing (15 points), run defense (30 points) and pass coverage (20 points). The cumulative figures from those traits resulted in our overall grade of each prospect.
How does the 2015 crop of inside linebackers measure up?
We have no one in this list. Leo Lewis was #1. FML.

Long gone are the days when tight ends were primarily tasked with blocking duties and only an occasional intermediate route. The position's complexion drastically changed in recent decades, and this latest crop of standouts proves the evolution process remains ongoing.
These premier 2015 recruits are ready to measure their games against collegiate competition and vie for early roles with powerhouse programs. We focused on tight ends listed among the top 200 overall players in 247Sports' composite rankings, rating each athlete with a 100-point scale based on hands, route-running, blocking, release, speed and agility.

3. 4-star Hale Hentges
Height/Weight: 6'5"/230 lbs
High School: Helias High School; Jefferson City, Missouri
247Sports Ranking: No. 3 tight end; No. 145 overall
Bleacher Report Score: 88/100
Committed to Alabama on May 25, 2014
Hale Hentges' recruitment heated up last winter, as at least a dozen offers arrived in February alone. He chose the Crimson Tide over fellow finalist Missouri, a nearby program that aimed to keep him on home turf.
Bleacher Report Analysis
I graded out Hentges higher than any member of this list because he approaches every situation with explosiveness. He's a tenacious blocker (20/20), sure-handed receiver (23/25) and precise route-runner (18/20).
His ability to attack different levels of the defense makes him a matchup issue on a week-to-week basis. Hentges' long strides and rangy catch radius set the stage for him to haul in difficult receptions in traffic.
He caught 113 passes for 1,909 yards and 26 scores as an upperclassman, providing evidence of big-play potential. Hentges dominates opponents in run blocking, sealing off the edge and driving defenders downfield with relentless aggression.

The most celebrated standouts of a star-studded 2015 recruiting class will aim to make an immediate impact against collegiate competition. After years of dominating at the high school level, elite prospects put their pride—and hype—on the line when they arrive on campuses across the country.
Some 5-star recruits have already enrolled and will participate in spring practice, while others won't leave home until this summer. Aside from striving for an educational degree, these dominant playmakers also carry dreams of achieving NFL fame and glory.
We broke down the top 10 players in this recruiting cycle, searching for a professional comparison based on potential and skill set. Here's a look at how these heralded teenagers measure up against NFL stars of today.

DE CeCe Jefferson
247Sports Composite Ranking: No. 2 strong-side defensive end; No. 7 overall
High School: Baker County (Glen Saint Mary, Florida)
Size: 6'2", 275 lbs.
Recruitment Status: Considering Ole Miss, Alabama, LSU, Auburn and Florida.
Pro-Player Comparison: Everson Griffen, Minnesota Vikings
The former USC standout was widely considered the top defensive end in his recruiting class and continues to impress as a physical specimen with Minnesota. Like CeCe Jefferson, he doesn't possess elite height, but his explosiveness is off the charts.
Griffen compiled a career-high 12 sacks in 2014, his fifth NFL season. He's grown into a relentless worker as a pro, which is a character trait we're already accustomed to seeing from the workmanlike Jefferson.
Jefferson is quick enough off the snap to gain a step on top-level offensive tackles and delivers a punch that sends opponents off balance en route to the quarterback. He tallied 40.5 sacks through his first three seasons of high school, per USA Today, but missed the majority of 2014 with a shoulder injury.

We need to jump on tre Lamar and get him for 2016. Prototype Mike for us. Thomas will be solid at will and Mcmillon is going to be good too but Lamar is more balanced than those 2. Thomas looks to be a space but isn't a thumper. Mcmillon reminds me of Denzel Devall

Anyone think devall should get a look at ILB?
Posted on 1/30/15 at 12:36 pm to cajunsack
It's possible but after 3 years at OLB I wouldn't think so. I think it's more likely one of the younger guys moved inside

We don't have any young OLBs who fit it well. He's too big and slow now to play OLB. We need speed on the edge and coverage guys in the middle. I think devall would benefit from play ILB next to Ragland on run downs and play DE occasionally

If anything I'd just move Dillon Lee to Will full time.
I still hope Evans stays at Jack, but I know he could be an elite Will and still drop down to the edge on 3rd down.

We still need some of the bigger OLBs to set the edge against run teams. If all we have are 220# speed rushers, teams like LSU and Arkansas will just run off tackle all game long. Dickson is heavier than Devall and was a valuable OLB last season
I just think someone like Lee or Anderson is more likely since the staff has played around with them at ILB in the past. Evans showed the ability to play standing up in high school too though he would need to add some weight
