So y’all know that Heisman poll you can vote in on twitter? There were 4 choices to vote for including Tua. Averion made sure to publicly vote for Ed Oliver. LINK

He also made this comment LINK

Saban never played Jalen Hurts in the 3rd & 4th qtr either but the Tua Cheerleaders are trying to pretend like it's some Great New Revelation Under Tua. As a matter of fact it was Tua playing in the 3rd & 4th qtr last year.

No need to be butthurt. Jalen did great things for us and continues to, but Tua is a once in a lifetime talent, he can't honestly expect a different outcome. Grow up frickstick.

This just makes Jalen that much more impressive to me. I mean holy shite he has to be a good guy to not be influenced by a father with that kind of outlook.

I think this will cut down the 60/40 he is coming back talk. If his dad is still bitter I see no way he returns. Will pull for Jalen whatever he decides though

I think Jalen's older brother is named Averion.

That looks to be his(the older brother) twitter account.

Maybe you’re right. I know his dad is named Averion as well so it’s a little confusing

You think he hasn’t been? Have we forgotten so quickly the disastrous press statement and then the closed door locker room meeting? I haven’t. You had continued actions and statements by mom and dad all year showing the environment he was brought up in, followed by these two incidents spoke volumes.

What is the more likely scenario for his non-controversial behavior since then: Nick called him into the office and said, “One more damned peep out of you and your locker is cleaned out quicker than Maurice Smith’s” or, Jalen has some sort of Road to Damascus moment and completely turns over a new leaf? If he did have some sort of epiphany I would think he would publicly acknowledge it. And do you think his brother made these statements in a vacuum without getting some sort of negative input from Jalen? Do you think if Jalen had been telling his brother, “I’m happy. All’s good” that tweet would have been made?

I personally hope Jalen transfers after the season. If he doesn’t, I’m betting we get more drama from the Hurts camp.

You're seriously this butthurt that you would hope a good QB leaves because you can't handle something his brother said?

Come on man.

You’re acting under the supposition he’s a good QB.

He’s serviceable, at best. And that’s being kind. What he is not is worth having his parents and family introducing any kind of internal or external drama into the locker room. I believe a well-known championship coach who termed that “noise”.

I'm happy Jalen seems to be more of an adult than his dad.

This is Jalen's brother, Averion Jr.

I don't really understand how anybody thinks Jalen is coming back to Alabama next season.

Jalen aint coming back next season and he has no reason to. He'll have his degree and he can transfer freely to any school he wants with a chance to start for his final season. That being said, if my family was publicly acting like fools, I'd have a heated conversation with them really quickly and tell them to sit down and STFU. This is my life, not yours. Want to comment publicly about your life, have at it, but leave me out of it. His family is a train-wreck. It's amazing he's doing as well as he is.

I was surprised he stayed this year. No way he's coming back to sit on the bench in his final year.

This isn't drama. Any drama created from these 2 tweets is by our own hands. On his Twitter, it says he lives in Houston and graduated from Texas Southern. There's a solid chance he may know Ed Oliver, and even if he doesn't, what's the harm in voting for a local guy you're a fan of instead of the guy that took your brother's job? As for the other tweet, he is supporting a tweet that supports his brother. There's nothing wrong with any of this.

he's a little too old to be acting like a spoiled and petulant child.

What a p.o.s.

edit to say I thought it was his Dad, but evidently it's the brother. So now the Dad,the Mom, and the brother have talked shite or insinuated how unfair it is that Tua beat Jalen for the starting job. It should be very obvious to anybody by now why and how that happened.

Exactly. We have some really fricking stupid fans that like to dwell on shite and magnify meaningless things.

Who cars what he says?

Hurts could of redshirted, had two years to play and left the team.

He didn't.

He stayed.

Actions are what matters and Hurts showed his character with them.

Anyways, I just can't wait for this Justin Fields thing to go south.
