How is that not a tournament? Winners play winners and losers play losers . A round robin would have 3 games between our 4 teams where outcome doesn't matter.

Last year was a tournament. They're changing formats. We play 2 games but not a tournament format. Apologies for confusion.

I also expect AZ on schedule. Away next year. "Home" the following. Negotiating dates now.

Nothing's really official until they release the schedule but yes, when I said AZ I'm referring to Arizona.

He meant do you expect them to be on the schedule for this coming season or the 2 following seasons?

Yeah that's what I meant, but I think Gongora was talking about this upcoming season now that he said that

So the return game would be at the BJCC and not Coleman?? I hate that why cant teams come on campus?? Students arent gonna travel 45 minutes away to watch at BJCC

But they shouldnt have to because this game should be on Campus. We arent a MidMajor, teams should be willing to play us in Tuscaloosa.

I believe it's Bama's choice to play in Birmingham and Huntsville. I'm not positive, but I think that's the case.

They did for Oklahoma State in 2012, and Oregon a few years ago. Why wouldn't they this time around?

I agree, I would prefer it to be on campus, but traveling to Bham wouldn't be an issue.

True, but I dont like big time home games being off campus in any sport. I hated that we use play most of our home games at Legion Field in football.

if we are a top 25 team. people will travel, plus Sexton has star potential. That will make or squad a must watch event.

I agree with mistaken here. I don't want every good ooc game to be played in Birmingham

I agree. Would love to host Arizona in Coleman, but no one bothers to show up around December bc of Christmas so I can't really blame the school for choosing to play in Birmingham

I'm all for the big games being out of town as of right now. I think its just to get more fans. Once we are more consistent with winning and have more consistent crowds it should stop.

I'm all for playing games off campus in December, but I don't think our best ooc conference game should be played in Birmingham every year. In Avery's first two years it has.
