I'm asking about Garza btw.

I didn't see anything about an offer

Kalif Young is planning a visit to Providence in May, per Kevin McNamara, a writer for The Providence Journal.

Getting Sexton on campus would be huge. I look for him to end up a 5 star though. He'll continue getting attention.

Gosh, we just need somebody to go ahead and commit so we can get some momentum going.

Providence just got a commitment from Diallo though (another forward). They shouldn't have the space for Young. I don't know how we don't land him at this point if we can just get him on campus.

BOL posted that Kessens will transfer to FIU. Also, Coleman transferred to Samford. That shows the kind of talent we had to deal with. They had to transfer and play for small schools bc they aren't good enough to play in a big conference.

Interesting - doesn't seem like a great shooter purely from a numbers standpoint. Nice all around game, though.

Anything in there re: Kalif Young?

Seems like 2015 was his anomaly for everything. I'll take his 35% and 38% from deep that he shot in 13-14 and 15-16 though. I'd love this pickup, but I'd be happy with any of the choices from Hampton, Collins, and Johnson and I would really like 2/3.

While his original visit to Tuscaloosa was postponed due a scheduling conflict, Young, a 6-foot-9 prospect, is still expected to make the trip to Alabama at some point in the coming weeks.

Agree - as long as the guy we get understands the new role, I really like bringing in guys who have experience being "the leader" of a team. It is a fine line, because if he comes in and can't accept sharing or giving up that role then it can be a GIANT problem, but if so, it's a great weapon to have on your roster.

Another bit from that post

Seems pretty ridiculous that Young and his camp set up 3 visits and didn't make a single one.

Want Hampton have to sit out?

No he's a grad transfer. Immediately eligible.
