God I hope we are able to get him. He has a chance to be an elite big in Avery's system.

Christian Brandt of Auburn (AL) CAJ needs to get with Saban now and learn how to start these mofos in rivals back yard.

Is this the son of Chris Brandt that played at AU in the 80s? Dude had the biggest tree trunk calfs I've ever seen.

Crystal ball on Alex Reese has him going to Vandy 100%.

I think he'll end up somewhere in this state. I'm just not confident it'll be Alabama.

Alabama has been on him since day 1. Auburn already has Anfree McLemore, and will probably get Garrison Brooks. Can't Reese going there with them taking two PFs already and Alabama having a big need of an inside presence. Plus Pelham is pretty close to T-Town.

Brooks is a lock for Miss St. His dad is an assistant there.

Our entire staff went and watched Ferguson today. I saw on Twitter that our coaches spent time talking with him and also Trevon Duval.

Do we actually have a shot with Duval?

I doubt it but I also don't know if any of our staff has pre existing relationships with those around him

When I saw Trevon Duval and Ferg play earlier this year, Duval wowed me. He was playing against ELITE competition, and was just amazing.

Brooks says the Crimson Tide stand out along with Georgia, Vanderbilt and UAB. Auburn, which initially offered, has had "minimal communication" with the top 100 overall prospect.
"My recruitment is wide open," he said. "I've just been to visits to those four schools and I really like those schools and I have a relationship with all of those coaches."
Brooks was able to connect with several coaches while in town, too.
"I kind of talked to him (Johnson) today, he had the biggest smile when he saw me and he knew I came," he said. "I kind of talk to coach Scott (Pospichal), coach (Antonie) Pettway a whole lot. With the bigs they have now, my freshman year, basically I can come in and play and come learn from coach Johnson with him being a pro coach.

Wow, he sounds a lot more open than his crystal ball suggests. I would love to have him if Bruno ends up somewhere else. Getting Brooks would keep us from having to play against him as well.

I have to believe at some point during the Spring evaluation period he'll start listing MSU as one of his top schools.
