He already signed...

Don't think we need any wing players anyway. Have 3 coming in. If you've seen Blackwell play you can say he is a wing as well. Kid can play..,

Yeah we should definitely be set 1-3. The only real need we have is bringing in another post player. It'd be awesome to land a good grad transfer.

I would kill for a solid rebounding 4/5 hybrid. Kinda like what we were expecting Kessens to be.

I never thought kessens would be like that lol...I knew he wasn't a banger once I saw that two on two film and he was playing like a pg. Anyway I know they don't grow on trees but there has to be a big that does nothing but hustle and gets boards.

I knew Kessens was a finesse player. I'm just pissed he doesn't have mid ranged game to stretch the defense more.

Cant believe we were all soo hype over Kessens and he is just a warm body lol.

I knew he wasn't a banger, but being good on the boards doesn't mean you're a banger. Donta Hall is great on the boards, but is the furthest thing from a banger. Kessens averaged 9 boards a game as a freshman at Longwood and 3 years later he's averaging 2 boards less in similar minutes. Plus the way a player plays 2 on 2 shows nothing of what he'd look like in organized basketball. The film I watched of Longwood University game highlights was much more promising.

Saw you mention Lazaro Rojas on the rant. Is there a possibility he actually transfers to Bama? He's following the entire Bama roster right now on twitter, along with other Bama basketball handles.

He's a high school senior so he wouldn't be transferring here from another college or anything. Unless bird has seen something different, I haven't seen anything concrete on whether we've offered him or not so I would imagine he's a down the line backup plan if Fernando goes elsewhere and we can't find a grad transfer.

Ah, thought he was transfer from Miami. Didn't read anything on him.

Kalif Young, a post player from Canada, mentioned us in this article: LINK

Seems like a big athletic man, but would be a project.

He looks decent. Just saw a scouting video from him and he looks like the kid we had who transferred to G Tech. Its from a year ago maybe he has improved a lot. Would be nice to get a Canadian pipe line going though.

I would be thrilled if CAJ could lock down the Birmingham metro area. Especially Mt Brook, who has had much success in-state recently.
Haven't heard anything, but I hope someone on the staff is going down to see Alex Reese in Montgomery today. He had 39 points and 25 rebounds in his last playoff game.

A guy posted this on BOL
quote:
Ar'Mond Davis scored 34 pts (8 of 15 3-pointers) with 7 rebs in a lost last Thursday.
Davis scored 29 points, hitting six 3-pointers, and 13 rebs last Saturday.
Oak Hill's Braxton Key leads the way in a 77-67 win. 23 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals.
Terrance Ferguson scored 22 in his last game..
2017 in state guys recruits
Alex Reese stats from Tuesday night, 39 pts 25 rebs in a win over Opelika. Plays Bessemer City tomorrow. I will be surprised if Pelham wins.
Garrison Brook from yesterday: 32 points with 11 rebounds, two blocks and two steals. He went 8 for 11 in a lost against a good Lee-Mont team.
Five-star junior John Petty had 20 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, three blocks and three steals. I would be surprised if he played in the 4th quarter.

Someone keeps telling me Ferguson has grade issues. Have any of you heard this?
