@EvanDaniels
This is a quality pick for Avery Johnson. Kobie Eubanks is a 6-5 wing scorer. Strong, tough, has a mid-range game & will even post.

I just got off the phone with 2016 Bartow (Fla) power forward Tony Bradley and he told me that Kansas, North Carolina, Miami, Florida and Alabama are the schools he is hearing from the most these days.

He told me that he's been talking with Coach Avery Johnson for about a month and a half, but lately he's been talking with Coach Pospichal who just so happened to be Tony's father (Tony Sr.) JuCo coach back in the day.

I've covered Bradley's recruitment since his freshman year and today was the very first time that he has ever mentioned Alabama to me when I've asked him who he was hearing from the most lately.

Pospichal seems to have some serious connections. He is super active on twitter and seems to be retweeting stuff from his former players all the time. Apparently he coached Julius Randle.

Eubanks finished his high school career playing at Our Savior New American School in Centereach, N.Y. for Rev. Ron Stelzer and Eric Jaklitsch. While there, Eubanks averaged 18.5 points while leading Our Savior New American to a 24-3 record as a senior in 2013-14. He scored in double figures in 25 of 27 games, including 13 games with at least 20 points and a pair of 30-point games. He also hit at least one 3-pointer in all 27 games and knocked down multiple treys in 24 of 27 contests.

PG - J. Cole
SG - R. Obasahon
SF - R. Norris
PF - M. Kessins
C - J. Taylor

Really think Norris shooting ability and IQ is needed on the court. He just knows how to play basketball.

i like Hale much better than Kessins. Really hope the new staff can do something with SH.

Not sure if we have enough shooters with the starting five you listed. Hopefully Coleman can become a reliable shooter.

I think Hale is the perfect 6 man. Can play the 3 or 4. Can provide scoring. He is just too small IMO.

I'll take a stab:

Coleman/Ingram
Retin/Eubanks/Austin
Norris/Eubanks
Hale/Kessens/Norris
Taylor/Kessens/Hall

Gotta start Hale for scoring purposes. Kessens can come in for JT. Ingram and Eubanks better be ready to play. Norris and Retin both would be good coming off the bench too but it appears we'll need them to start next year. I'm just not sure where the points are gonna come from. I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of Ingram/Coleman together with JC at 2.

I think Johndon expects/wants Eubanks to be a starter. I doubt he is from day one those. My ideal lineup would also have Hall being good enough to steal away some good minutes from Kessens, but who knows if that is even possible.
Johnson's offense is going to be focused on guard play. Out of Coleman/Ingram/Eubanks/Retin, I believe there will be a lot of times that we see three of those on the floor at the same time, assuming Eubanks has some success as a 3. That's nothing more than a guess though.. I have no true info.

I really like Kessens but im guess im in the minority on him being a starter. I like Hale too but at times he tries to do to much on offense. I just hope CAJ can develop them.

I agree with you on Eubanks. He very easily could be starting by conference play.

I think Hall has a very bright future. Wish we could redshirt him though. Doubt that will be possible though.
