Can you ask the staff on BOL about Kobe Eubanks? He wasn't mentioned in that free writeup about potential targets, but with the article from scout today about us being interested in him and Meyer crystal balling him to Bama, you would think the guys at BOL may have heard something or at least look into it.

I don't think Avery is high on Austin. He has never looked great in any of the games ive seen but I guess he could be good.

Kobie and his family have spoken to Avery Johnson and Bob Simon over the past couple of days. Simon was recruiting Eubanks while he was at Providence and has stayed in contact with him. Coach Johnson saw Kobie play against his son in an AAU game a few years ago.
Eubanks would like to start taking visits next week and finish them in the next 2-3 weeks and then make a decision. CAJ's schedule over the next couple of weeks include a few days that he'll be on the road due to prior commitments but I expect Alabama to get a visit from Eubanks. I also expect Tennessee to get a visit since Eubanks has a great relationship with Rick Barnes and with Rob Lanier.
Eubanks did a prep year at Elev8 Sports Institute in Delray Beach, Florida. I believe Eubanks will stay closer to the south than some people had previously thought.

The guy who trains my nephew trains Schaffer. He can shoot the lights out. Right now i would compare him to a lesser Trevor Lacey. Really not athletic.

Good get imo. I thought he was coming to AU. He is physically weak by SEC standards and doesn't have great athleticism, but the kid can shoot and will work his arse off. Perfect walk on candidate who has the chance to help the team down the road.

Jeff Garrett got his release from Bama today. Glad he is gone. Didn't expect much from him. I bet CAJ be like what the hell was Anthony Grant planning on doing with these kids.

Grant might as well. I'm Not sure about as assistant at IF, but He wasn't much of a recruiter for us.
