Hopeful for a full recovery. Whether he ends up at Bama, AU, Kentucky, etc. you hate to see this happen to a talented kid.

Ferguson had visits from Texas, Kansas, Baylor and Texas A&M this week and indicated he was open to all schools. Most of his 247Sports Crystal ball reports predict Kansas, but 247Sports Director of Basketball Scouting Jerry Meyer put in a crystal ball pick for Alabama on Thursday.

Interesting comment on that article from an AL.com guy

@JoseyWalesLowdownBushwhacker Was told he was visiting family in Tuscaloosa, not with Alabama coaches. I won't rule anything out, but it would happen later rather than sooner

I think that was about Kouassi, since he is visiting Tuscaloosa.

Yeah it was. My mistake for not clarifying.

We know he's good on the court, but now we'll get to see his throwing arm! Avery Johnson (@CoachAvery6) is throwing out 1st pitch tonight

Simon is at the game tonight too so I'm guessing our staff is putting the full court press on King's visit today rather than be out recruiting at the AAU events. Hopefully they'll be out there tomorrow.

Don't know if you guys have ever really seen any of the guys play but I found video of the Ala-Miss all star game. Hall is super athletic and skilled just hate that he doent know how to box out or doesn't really try yet. Austin just shoots the 3 all day lol hit or miss.

Gotta love that Avery is recruiting his arse off. Can't wait to see how his first class looks when the dust settles.

I have a source close to Justin Hopkins that says Bama has no shot at any of the players on Alabama Challenge its a long ways away until they can sign though

Back in our better days of recruiting, the challenge was our feeder program. Since Johnson has had a job for all of 3 weeks, I don't see how people are already saying both we'll land everyone on that team to we'll land no one. Johnson has to develop a relationship first

Johnson and an assistant are in Lexington. I don't know if one assistant has stayed behind with King or if maybe he left early this morning.

If we can somehow get Ferguson, I'd feel a lot better about our chances with Langford. Great recruits like being a part of a a great recruiting class.

@jeffborzello: Memphis transfer Nick King tells ESPN that he has committed to Alabama.

Significant pickup for Avery Johnson.
