Yea, sorry, 2-17 in the SEC is unacceptable. I don't care if your team is made up of New Row walk-ons who were 3rd team All-Over the Mountain their senior years of high school.

Yeah this team sucks donkey balls. Thing is, I don't know if we could fire him this year. What coach wants to come here after firing a guy after one year? Plus have to deal with the scholarship limitations because we don't have a lottery. JMO, but we're probably stuck with Goff.

I don't think he should be fired yet, but I'd be lying if I said I think he'll succeed here.

Usually you give a coach more than one year, but this may be an exception. We're having one of our worst seasons in years, he's reportedly been rude and been cussing loudly at games, he's very strict about what the players can and can't do, and now he's ignoring former players at an alumni event. I really don't know he if deserves another year.

This Goff hire is looking like a disaster. I don't believe he is a bad coach, I just don't think he is a fit for us.

One of the players told me Goff had lost the team before we even started conference play. In fact, it was the same day we opened conference play against Mizzou.

He lost a couple of kids that were committed to Bama, as soon as he was hired. They must have known something about him that the rest of us didn't. There is no excuse for this shite.

Same guy told me he comes up with stupid rules on the spot. Like, when we had to move that midweek game from a night game to a day game because it was too cold to play at night. He wouldn't let anybody in the dugout put their hands in their pockets to stay warm. Pissed them all off.

When a team is going like this, the fingers start pointing and the long knives come out. It's not the end of the world and the guy will right the ship, even though it's hard to see it now.
Seriously though, I wish the media interviews would cease and they would just report the basics of the games' results. After a while it becomes ridiculous to hear the same comments and excuses over and over. Hell, let the coach and the team alone to finish the season and start over.

Sorry, that's not the way things work in major collegiate and professional sports. He doesn't get to cower in the corner and ride out the worst season in modern SEC history without talking about it.

Hunter Johnson has been blasting him on Twitter for a while now. He Gumps too hard at times but his mom works in the athletic department so he has a solid idea of what's going on.

And people listen to him too. He's the main reason Byrne reversed the deal and let the students get free NIT tickets for basketball last year. He was complaining about it and got everyone else complaining, then tagged Greg Byrne and said we hope u do the right thing. Shortly after that it worked
