I agree. Must be something to this. May be the impact of Sexton and Brown coming on the same week. Could be something to be excited about for sure. The gravity of a commitment from someone like Sexton, Brown or Petty would lure someone like Harvey.

What are these guys thinking, coming in on a weekend when there is an away football game. No way I would do that. I'd want to be around when all the fun is going on. Ttown could be a ghost town with kids going home and such.

Probably a smart decision if kids want to know what going to a certain school feels like on most weekends.

I know we didn't have much of a chance with Jaren Jackson Jr but he's narrowed his list and were not in it

I think it's exactly 50 days until we play Faulkner. Not recruiting news, but anyways

They have a more massive inferiority complex than Auburn. Shame they honestly believe anyone gives a shite about their shitty basketball program.

Hopefully we win the battle this time. I think it is fair to say that Reese is more important right now than Lee was then, even though that contributed to Grant being fired.

Our program is in a better place right now than it maybe ever was under Grant though.

Rivals has a new interview with Sexton up. They say his recruitment is currently "up in the air." He ruled out Arizona and North Carolina. Said he'll be visiting Oklahoma State and Kansas, then one more OV that he doesn't yet know how he'll use. They seem to think Pastner and GT have the most momentum with him right now :/

Where do you get that from this? I read it as us being the favorite but GT has a shot.

Sexton’s recruitment has been tough to read of late. Early on, Alabama certainly had all the momentum as they were the first high-major program to get serious with him. Since Sexton shot up the rankings in the past year, his recruitment has blown up to the highest level and now it’s hard to tell where he’ll end up. Alabama is still in there deep and it’s safe to assume the schools that have official visits scheduled, NC State, Oklahoma State, and Kansas, along with Georgia Tech are the main five. Beyond that, it’s tough to read. Don’t rule out Georgia Tech as the darkhorse here. Josh Pastner is putting in serious work and he certainly has Sexton’s attention.

Look at the source. He's a good poster, but he has had a pretty bad case of the worry warts the past month or 2. Understandable considering our past.

BTW what happened to Arizona? I could have sworn he was supposed to be going to their Blue/Red Game. If they're really out, I think Tech may be our only big threat.
