Not only do I want him more than anyone left on the board....but if he was the only guy left that we got, i'd be happy. If we get everyone but him....i'll be happy, but i'll feel a little down

I actually think we get Vanderdoes...
He seemed more excited about his visit to bama than anywhere else... other than distance as an issue I think he is ours to lose.
He obviously has a good head on his shoulders and wants to make a good business decision.... That screams Bama to me.

Apparently his situation is similar to Conner's. In a vacuum, where his decision was subject to no outside influences, he's all Bama. His parents want him at UCLA or ND though.

I could see UCLA, but why Notre Dame?
Cause they come to town once every two years?
I don't have access to insider stuff really, but I thought the "you won't fit in in the south" was coming more from friends and other coaches than his parents... just the feel I got.

Pretty sure it was. I guess they just like ND and UCLA better. I didn't hear it. Some Rivals or 247 guy said it on the radio earlier today.

I thought I read his mom and dad both came... either way... I think our chances are as good if not slightly better than anyones.
