The Family looked happy for him. Was not Landon Collins 2.0. Good sign.

Assuming he does sign, I think it'll be really interesting if Jonathan Allen also winds up at ILB. Foster and Allen are as different as can be in personality and how they handled their recruitment. It'd be interesting having the 2 of them lining up next to each other at the ILB spots

When they brought his family out I felt he would pick Auburn and told my wife so.

Pleasantly surprised that I was wrong.

Now the question is "Does he sign with us?"

That is the big question. He still has a couple of days to think it over.

His family looking happy and supportive was a good sign. But yeah, tonight is pretty meaningless. I don't even consider him part of this class until we receive his fax.

Well, although I think he is confused and unsure and don't consider him a for sure signature. I think the fact this commitment was on TV and when he was alone and not in front of a coach or on the phone with them adds some credibility to it. At least more than the others did with him.

If you're that nervous, why do a press conference? Is he that hard up for attention?

Can you imagine what it will be like for him at school tomorrow? If I was him I would have been nervous as can be too.

Per 247Sports' rankings, Alabama has commits from five 5-stars. The rest of the SEC combines for six

There's nothing to worry about, his commitment is 100% solid. The trepidation he showed was due to some other circumstances that will be taken care of very soon, family/school related.

He signs with us Wed, 100%.

He's pushing 260 already isn't he? Assuming he puts on more weight in college, and with his athleticism, he'd seem destined for jack.

And with the commitment of the #2 player in the country, Alabama's class moves to #8 in the nation on Scout A commitment from A'Shawn (scouts #5 player) would put Bama at #5.

What a shitty recruiting site.

Foster will be able to drive and see his family in Birmingham anytime he wants.
