Yes and he's definitely starting to look more like a DE than a Jack or ILB, but the coaches will try him out at a few positions. He's stated in an interview that he can still put on or lose weight if needed depending on which positions the coaches decide on.

He was up to 260 at one time. Pretty sure he is back down to around 245 which is where he needs to be.

1 season with Cochran and I think the bkid slims down and mans one of the ILB spots

That's what I'm hoping for. Allen and Foster manning the ILB spots at 245 each

Allen said in one of his interviews he sheds wait pretty easily, he lost a bit of what he gained over the course of the season.

He did sometimes when we lined up with 2 Jack LBs. CNS said a few times that Hightower was our best pass rusher.

Hightower was a better pure rusher than Upshaw, Saban moved Hightower to so many different places to take advantage of that.
