Tide may be turning in favor of Anthony Grant keeping his job at Alabama

Seems the "Grant is staying" belief is gaining traction. Clearly being led by Auburn fans.

Over 20 minutes of game without hitting a jump shot. I've never seen that done before.

Maybe Anthony Grant is trying to get fired but he wants that buyout?

Now we wait.

I swear to god I won't watch a game next year if we don't have a new head coach.

If Grant is retained it is such an indictment on the Athletic Department's commitment towards anything but football. How any athletic department administrator could look at Grant's record and say "This deserves another year" is beyond me. Keeping Grant will literally set our program back an additional 4 years.

The thing is is that its obvious that Grant is working out and its not like things are lining up for a good season next year...so what is it that our AD is waiting for?

Agreed. Things are not looking up for the program anytime soon as long as AG is coach.

I was thinking the same thing earlier today. Levi and Cooper aren't world-beaters but they were usually solid and had a lot of experience. If no one steps up to be "the man" next year, I think we'll be back below .500. As shitty as that would be, it would definitely be the final straw for CAG...wouldn't it?

Tarrant will shot it 50 times a game next year if grant stays. dribble around the three point line for 28 seconds ...shot defended three. repeat.

Yep. He'll lead the SEC in scoring while we go 15-17

I just fully accepted that AG is going to be coaching here for the next 10 years, so if he does actually get fired I can celebrate like crazy.

One would think but if our athletic department had any pride, last year and this year would be the final straw.

If he comes back, there's nothing left to do but drop all support for the team, and Bill Battle. If he didn't want to deal with something like this, he should have never taken the job. It sucks for "the kids," but nothing is going to change if people keep buying tickets and faking a smile.

Pathetic. Given our brand power, fanbase size, and revenue...there's just zero excuse for that.

If Battle just wants to kick the can to the next AD, then he just needs to go ahead and retire.

Does Bill Battle even realize that 95% of the fans want a change?

I honestly don't think he cares.
