During an interview with The Spun, Eli Manning, we asked him which college he'd pick if he was a recruit in today's era, other than Ole Miss...
quote:

"Right now, I obviously love the SEC. Georgia looks pretty tempting. They always have a great defense and good skill position players," Manning told The Spun. "My nephew is at Texas. I was close to going to Texas when I was being recruited over 20 years ago. They’re playing great and will be in the SEC next season. I’d put Oklahoma in the same boat. Those three schools would be at the top."

You’re from Louisiana, born and raised, and yet LSU is not even a consideration? I just don’t get this family.

I don't even know how to respond to this post. Archie Manning is an Ole Miss Legend. Because of this fact LSU, Alabama and Miss St are out of the equation for the next 100 years or more. Now do you get it?

No shite. I understand this but Archie put roots down in Louisiana and not Missisissippi. So LA couldn’t have been all that bad. All I’m alluding to is this state has given the Manning family a lot of love and it’s got little to nothing in return.

They have Ole Piss roots and blood. Archie made sure his kids didn't even consider LSU.

Shouldn’t they be asking Archie where he’d allow Eli to go instead?

Still arse sore because they told LSU to pound sand for bigger and better teams at the time?

LSU won the national championship when Eli played at Ole Miss. He would have won a national championship at LSU.

It's hard to find a university with a special ed program.

None of the Mannings wanted anything to do with teams in Louisiana when they was growing up. Why does this surpass you?

Three different quarterbacks have played at least one down at Texas so far this season. None of them were named Manning.

If Eli had to pick a Louisiana program, he probably would have picked Tulane over LSU

Or LA Tech. Or Southwestern. Or Northeastern. Or Nicholls, McNeese, etc.

I don't care if they grew up in Louisiana, no Manning will ever attend LSU

Not surprising Eli, an Ole Miss legacy and Graduate, would pic a school not in the SEC West.

Can't argue with UGA pick and maybe even a Texas with a QB friendly system there. But OU? Really? Lincoln isn't there anymore for the QB stat padding. Once again a Manning will never pick LSU. LOL
