Johnny Manziel ripped the NFL in court on Tuesday, telling the judge in his domestic violence case he doesn't always trust the league based on the way it's mistreated other players...

Here's some background per TMZ Sports...
One of the stipulations in Johnny's plea deal was to either participate in the NFL's

substance abuse program OR go to rehab at a court approved location.
Johnny didn't tell the court which one he was choosing by the deadline and he addressed the judge in open court to explain himself Tuesday.
Manziel essentially blamed the whole thing on a miscommunication with the NFL

I know DV has become a hot-button issue (as it should be), but if the NFL allowed Michael Vick to make a comeback after he was released from PRISON for his far more serious crimes, then Johnny deserves at least a shot if he can prove he's sober and has turned his life around. And I mean a real shot, not one of those where they NFL officially allows him to workout for teams but has instructed every GM to not sign him behind closed doors.
