During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, the Hall of Fame QB Dan Marino listed a few rivals in his Mt. Rushmore...
quote:

"To me, [Joe] Montana and [John] Elway, Jim Kelly—those guys, all those guys," Marino said. "Patrick Mahomes, he’s going to be considered one of the best ever. You got Tom Brady, you got a lot of guys. So, there’s a lot to pick from there.”

When asked if he'd consider including himself, Marino had a humble response.

"Nah I'm not going to do that," Marino said. "That's for someone else to say. But I feel like I could play with all those guys."

Sammy Baugh changed football forever. Dan Fouts played an awful perennially below average teams. Then there is Drew Breeze.

Remember believing Marino was the one who could knock off the undefeated 85 Bears and he did 38-24. His quick release and dynamic receivers - Clayton & Duper - gave them fits. Good stuff.

Jim Kelly? No, great player but he's not in the top 4.

Brady, Bradshaw and Montana. Then you pick between Aikman and Mahomes. Win SBs or STFU about being the GOAT QB.

Do you honestly think that Dan Marino is not better than Terry Bradshaw question mark That kind of blows my mind

That's dumb. Unitas won three titles. Baugh redefined passing. Marino better than Brady. Period.

Marino, with the rules today, would have a 6000 yd season.

Marino was Peyton Manning but when defenses could still maul you. Marino in today’s game would be scary

Marino was much more deadly in the last two minutes of the game. Manning never scared anyone in last two minutes in college or first half of pro career.

Spoken like a man who knows he was the best, and doesn't need to talk about himself.
