According to ESPN, the Big Ten has suspended Iowa basketball coach Fran McCaffery for his outburst against Wisconsin on Sunday. McCaffery was ejected after arguing calls made by the officiating crew and will now be suspended for Thursday nights game vs. Northwestern. Here is McCaffery's apology:

"I want to again apologize to the University of Iowa, my players, staff and the tremendous Hawkeye fans for my emotional reaction during Sunday's game," McCaffery said in a statement Tuesday. "I regret my actions and accept the Big Ten Conference's decision. I am ready to move on."

Assistant Kirk Speraw will coach the Hawkeyes in McCaffery's place on Thursday.
