Should the SEC championship be charged from the east vs west

The SEC championship in years past has not featured the best two teams, just seems it should be the best two teams in the conference regardless of division playing for the SEC title

Then why have Division playoffs in the NFL, MLB, or NBA. It has and will be done this way

Yes it should be East vs West. Just like it was the first several years that the East won the SECCG.

Look at it from this view, if an undefeated team from the west plays a two loss team from the east and loses, then that two loss team is the champ of the whole conference. Meanwhile in this scenario there would be multiple other one loss teams in the west. So the outcome of this would be a team holding a title who is not the best in the conference

They should change the system. Put in the best two teams regardless. Same in NFL. Always some 50/50 team makes it and much better teams stay at home

What if one division is much more difficult than the other so the 2 loss team played a much harder schedule than the 1 loss team?

Wouldn't it be less beneficial for the West anyways?
The loser of the SECCG usually doesn't go to a BCS bowl, where as the west has gotten the 2nd BCS bowl slot anyways.
With the new format I'm not sure, but it seems like it would still fit in regards to getting into the playoffs.

The east fricked over the west in basketball when they did away with the divisional format. But no I don't think it needs changed.
