The whole purpose of the SEC championship is for the two best teams in the conference to play, if it's east vs west and the two best teams are in the same division then the championship is pointless to even play, who cares if it's east vs west it needs to be the two best teams out of the whole conference
& please tell me HOW you're going to set up the scheduling where it's fair as to who plays whom. The ABSOLUTE LOGICAL response would be a 26 game season where you play H/A against everybody. However, somebody's going to bitch about when they played a certain team compared to somebody else.

The schedule could be the same way it is now, more than likely the championship would end up in a rematch from teams from the same division, but only thing that would change is not choosing from east or west but choosing the top two out of the whole conference

Divisions are a necessary part of any sport because without them you would have to pick and choose which teams play who on what year and that alone would be a cluster frick all by itself.

I hope that you realize that the idiots that post here are probably kids who are "brave" behind a fricking computer. I respect and admire the heroes that serve and defend our country. My older brother served in the Vietnam War and spent a year in Vietnam. After dodging enemy fire for a year, he comes home to be killed by a drunken driver five days after he came home. You just proved my point. Who says you get to play AU and UF every year. Perm opponents will not work. Everybody must play everybody within a certain time period in order to uphold NCAA regulations
