Has anyone heard any recent chatter about Cowart and Jefferson committing as a package deal ... and where they might be leaning?

This has been relayed from the Cowart side much, much more than the Jefferson side.

They're both heavy UF leans, but I don't think it's really a package deal.

The recruiting veteran part of me believes they are trolling hard, the homer in me hopes UF tanks and CeCe comes to Bama.
In all likelihood though, Cowart seems be the guy who'd pick elsewhere if it were legit IMO.

Good assessment.
The package deal Cowart was referring to wasn't about he and CeCe. It was in regards to a group of guys from Team Tampa.
Cowart and CeCe troll hard.
Recruiting these days is one huge troll job with these reporters so involved.

Yeah CeCe reportedly enjoyed himself at LSU's camp but I don't think anyone is taking him very seriously yet.

yeah I think LSU will only have a chance if he comes back for a home game...seems like he's staying in state otherwise...UF.

This could be good news for some schools, and bad for others. Georgia was thought to be a favorite for both players, while other schools stood better chances if the players were to make separate decisions.
Jefferson lists Florida, Auburn, Florida State, Alabama, and USC as some of his top choices, while Cowart lists Florida, Oregon, Alabama, Auburn, and Maryland, among others. Both have scholarship offers from basically every program in the country.

The CeCe/Cowart is no longer. The Tampa deal is on some say.

FWIW down here people feel if they play together it would be at uf but cowart is real into FSU as of now
