Other fan bases like to point to skipping Georgia in the rotation two years ago. The reality is that, while the away game with Missouri replaced the away game at Georgia, the home game with aTm replaced what should have been a home game with Vandy. How'd that work out for us? Funny how opposing fans never got riled up over that.

And, by the way...

Saban/Bama has played 23 SEC BYE week games in 7 years.
07-4 ;08-3 ;09-3; 10-6; 11-3; 12-1; 13-3 = 23

Spurrier/USC has played 1 (ONE, UNO)SEC BYE week games in 7 years.
07-0; 08-0; 09-0; 10-0; 11-0; 12-0; 13-1 = 1

Auburn has played 4 SEC BYE week games in 7 years.
07-0; 08-2; 09-1; 10-0; 11-0; 12-0; 13-1 = 4

Having to play a good team with a BYE week a big disadvantage.

Thanks B-hama

[quote]Combination of Bham and Bama. Not that hard to grasp. [quote]

I grasp that. It's just that it sounds stupid.

I'm not sure they control it, I just think they're so entitled that the SEC and NCAA know it'll be a huge battle to take on Bama.

Hell, look at what their fans do.

So there's one with every cinference? UNC in the ACC, Texas in the Big 12, Bama with the SEC.

Is that an agreed-upon, accepted, well-known given?

Then why?
