No Bama does not control the SEC. Many things that people have complained about Alabama getting are because it aligns with what a majority of the Big 6 want.

Haha no. The ACC gets the best of both worlds without USCe. They get the South Carolina market without having to split the money with 2 teams. The ACC would not take USC back if you guys wanted to go back.

Hate to tell you this, but I doubt the ACC misses USCe in the least. Nothing wrong with y'all, but you don't bring anything to the table that other teams in the ACC don't bring to a greater degree.

No shite... ACC got rid of a perennial loser in football And an iffy academic school...win-win...

Taken totally out of context.

I don't understand the conspiracy theories with the SEC offices in Birmingham. Decisions are made by Mike Slive and the AD's of the school. I don't really think it matters that much where someone's administrative assistant or data entry person went to school.

Slive is from New York. He went to college at Dartmouth, law school at UVA and got an LLM at Georgetown.

The SEC spreads things around. SECCG in Atlanta (used to be in B-ham, and it got moved). Basketball tourney rotates and is now primarily in Nashville. Sugar Bowl is in NOLA.

I do love you focusing on SCAR leaving the ACC ... and you even went so-far as to pull the liberal progressive socialist move of taking what I typed out of context and running with it ... I take that as a compliment and thank you.

But SCAR now owns the SC market, especially with the launch of the SECN.

The ACC got Ga Tech ... better fit. SEC got SCAR ... better fit.

Not trying to thread drift here, just education you based on facts and bringing the deflection attempt into focus.

Back in the day -- which I wasn't around for, so I have to rely on the hoarse meandering tales of decrepit old fogies -- I would have thought Clemson would be a better fit for the SEC and USCe for the ACC. But times change and, unlike Missouri, y'all are welcome here.

Does the University of Alabama (Bama) really control what goes-on in Birmingham (B-hama) and therefore, by proxy, control the SEC?

Why then do we allow Bama to control this thing of ours? Who the frick appointed them the Genoveses of the SEC?

Are you asking for commentary on a rhetorical statement outside of the Auburn people you mentioned in the closing?

Maybe the conference office should be in Cairo, IL. It's short drive to like 5 SEC states.***

Combination of Bham and Bama. Not that hard to grasp.

Apparently you have no clue about the SEC, if you claim Alabama uses Tennessee for scheduling purposes. Tennessee has the best all time record of the teams in the East. So, they've been down a few years, but that's fact.
Yall were given Arkansas to play all the time.
It is Bama who should be crying foul about scheduling.

Bama is all up in scrooster's head.
