If Bama controlled everything, the SEC championship would have never been taken out of Birmingham and put in Atlanta, where I believe UGA has gone the most since its been there.

I remember a couple two or three years ago when something like three or four teams had off weeks prior to playing Bama and Saban was not happy about that.

Will that ever happen again while Saban is still coaching there?

Bama will always be relevant as long as they have a bagman in Louisiana.
Without their Louisiana "investments" they'd be meh.

What exactly do you think it is that Bama has done? When AU wanted to move the Iron Bowl to Jordan Hare, they got their way....they get to preserve the DSOR just like we wanted to to preserve TSIO. Bama hasn't pulled a revenue grab like Texas despite being the most succesful team in the league by far...AU going to the East is a realignment issue that involves all of the schools. At the end of the day, AU's interests are more or less the same.
Hey, listen, I was playing devils advocate.
Did I not specifically ask if all the claims that Bama controls B-hama were all about scheduling?
Nothing but scheduling?
Other than that has Bama pulled any power plays against others in the conference? Have they slung their weight around in the least?

that is high comedy.
But to answer your question yes, yes we do.

Ahhh fricking haaa!
So the entire conference rule was changed when Saban told them he didn't like it, correct?
Bye-bye, bye-week issue? Tide has changed its tune

Guys scrooster is having a stroke.

Technically scrooster if Bama controlled the SEC we would be playing 9 conference games.

No you specifically asked how AU could stand it in a Bama dominated league and I was pointing out the fallicy of your argument.
Is this another stupid thread about bridge schedules? Ask LSU fans because you will get a 50 page response of whining and trolling....

No that's untrue. It's a publicity stunt. Saban doesn't want 9 games. He wants the status quo.

No goshdammit no. The question for Auburn fans was an afterthought. The main question was, is Bama perceived as controlling the league through B-hama all about scheduling?
Maybe LSU has a reasonable fricking complaint.
I know for a goshdamn fact SCAR has had some issues ... but nothing compared to what LSU has had to deal with in recent past years.
Listen, Bama fans are the bomb ... but honest Bama fans, every single one of them I know, they all laugh and admit their schedule demands are, well, always met.

My scheduling demands are rarely met.

Auburn has done it by sheer will and perseverance.
It is cute that you think USCe would be where they are today without the SEC.

Nothing wrong with y'all, but you don't bring anything to the table that other teams in the ACC don't bring to a greater degree.
We probably would have won the conference in '11 & '12 and would have been runners-up last year. We'd also have the top baseball program since 2000.
