Oklahoma State didn't face a defense like LSU all year, Big 12 was awful defensively in 2011
Stanford had an OK defense but they were more of an offensive machine that year

but this is a classic example of our fanbase being too restless over the past. What's done is done, and we are primed for some really big seasons over the next couple of years.

LSU blew out every team they played outside Alabama. Even Alabama only managed 1 TD in 2 games. Oklahoma St did not have the defense Alabama did. LSU would have coasted against them. I think Oregon would have crushed Oklahoma St as well had they played.

I totally agree LSU would have wiped the floor with Okie State. They knew it, too, and they knew there was only one team good enough to stop them.

It was a 2 score game until a couple of minutes left in the game and the defense was gassed. Alabama was just that good.
