I love how PETA thinks that Les is taking a tranq gun and Fournette out into the wilds of India to get a Tiger and put him in a cage. The reality is that LSU is taking an animal that was born in captivity and was probably some awful person's pet for a short period of time before they went to a rescue. Now, LSU brings that animal to a great facility with excellent care and has an opportunity to show the world how beautiful, majestic and powerful these animals truly are and that these animals and their habitat are worth saving. PETA should worry about all of the dogs and cats that they euthanize every year before crusading against LSU and Mike the Tiger.

It's hilarious that she think Mike goes to games regularly. For an animal rights activist, she surely isn't paying attention

Screw PETA! They don't care about animals. All they care about is seeing there name in the headlines. The only time they show up is when celebrities (M.Vick) of major businesses or, in this case, programs are in the news because of animal issues. Have they even seen Mike's facility!? A multi-million dollar, state of the art compound with 24hour service and an entire team of veterinarians, feeders, landscape supervisors, and handlers provided to Mike around the clock. He's treated better than a lot of humans. If they really cared, they would be commending LSU. I get more disgusted with PETA. You don't see them up and arms when an average Joe's commit cruelty towards animals. But if they can get there name in the paper, here come the fire and pitch forks. Clowns man, straight fowl...

I say we end the tradition of giving PETA the attention they crave.

Poor poor animals. But they're fine with anyone killing human babies in the womb.

Exactly. These same morons are advocates for abortions. Makes no fricking sense.

Mike's habitat cost roughly 9 million dollars more than the typical American family's home. These people don't understand what "ethical" treatment is. We treat this tiger like a King!

The crazy thing is, I think PETA actually believes the tired regurgitated rhetoric they spew like some freshman hipster from Columbia or Brown... or worse... Smith College.

members of peta should stop murdering innocent plans for food.I'm starting a new org PETP. We demand that LSU end t he brutal practice of landscaping and allow plants to grow wild and free as nature intended.

When I went to Arizona State PETA raised a sign on campus with two pictures. One was a picture of chickens in a coop. The other was of prisoners in a Nazi concentration camp. These were bone-thin, emaciated prisoners. The caption read, "To the Nazi's we were the chickens." This is a true story. This is who we are dealing with.
