Screw PETA! They don't care about animals. All they care about is seeing there name in the headlines. The only time they show up is when celebrities (M.Vick) of major businesses or, in this case, programs are in the news because of animal issues. Have they even seen Mike's facility!? A multi-million dollar, state of the art compound with 24hour service and an entire team of veterinarians, feeders, landscape supervisors, and handlers provided to Mike around the clock. He's treated better than a lot of humans. If they really cared, they would be commending LSU. I get more disgusted with PETA. You don't see them up and arms when an average Joe's commit cruelty towards animals. But if they can get there name in the paper, here come the fire and pitch forks. Clowns man, straight fowl...

I say we end the tradition of giving PETA the attention they crave.

I love how PETA thinks that Les is taking a tranq gun and Fournette out into the wilds of India to get a Tiger and put him in a cage. The reality is that LSU is taking an animal that was born in captivity and was probably some awful person's pet for a short period of time before they went to a rescue. Now, LSU brings that animal to a great facility with excellent care and has an opportunity to show the world how beautiful, majestic and powerful these animals truly are and that these animals and their habitat are worth saving. PETA should worry about all of the dogs and cats that they euthanize every year before crusading against LSU and Mike the Tiger.
