11 spots? That's what they dropped after losing by 10 to #1 last year. Losing by 30 to an unranked team should mean a litttle more.

Well I remember beating a high ranked team in the past couple years and they dropped. To the rank right above us. Forget who it was though.

Actually, we still don't really know how good or bad each of these teams is...so this looks like a pretty reasonable drop to me.

You people are idiots. So what happens if we beat the next few team 40-10 then go into gainseveille and beat them 31-6? I guess we'll be good again? What if we beat Auburn 23-14? Then play a great game against Bama? What if we end up 10-2? After this loss. Our fans give up way to easily and early. Lots of football left to recover from. We are missing lots of people at this time especially on the DL. When they come back we could be a totally different team. Our fans are awful.

I'm with ya, it just the WAY in which we got beat. Our lines are atrocious. Traditionally you don't win too many in the SEC with weak sauce line play. D LINE can get better with heath... but that O LINE... yikes.

Agree 100%. I guess "fans" thought we'd go 13-0. We have new OC with a bunch of youngters on D. There will be bumps and sometimes ugly ones. That's how it is. This is a 9-3 regular season team and I'm fine with that right now. I'll still be in Baton Rouge for every home game.

Sounds good to me BayouBengal. Any idea when we get some help back on either line?

8-4 is the best case scenario for this team.

How are they even ranked unless State is a top 5 team?

Ed should agree to take a 10% cut in pay for every game he loses. Who in the Hell decided to pay this line coach so much?

You have an unhealthy addiction to the term line coach

Bases on body of work so far, there is no way LSU should be ranked while Vandy and Kentucky are not.

The poll says it all: the difference between a high-IQ coach (Saban) and a Line Coach. No 1 vs. No. 25.

Are you kidding me!? FSU is ranked 12th and they haven't won a game yet! OSU has the same record as us and they're 10th! and you're saying that we shouldn't be ranked! Don't refer to yourself as a Tiger fan because clearly your still stuck up Les Miles' Hershey highway! Les Miles loss 2 to 3 games a year EVERY YEAR!!! Coach 0 loses one game and here you idiots come with the torches and pitchforks. Crawl back under your bridges!!!!

Mouche I'm going to ignore your insults but have to ask you if La Tech that put up 21 points and more yards without the services of a 2 million dollar a year OC against Miss State should be ranked ahead of LSU? If not, why should LSU be ranked when La Tech isnt?
